iRO Renewal Hardware Maintenance

July 28th, 12:00PM - 6:00PM PST

 

Hardware maintenances will solely consist of IT tasks required to continue smooth operation of the game. From now on, we will be alternating between Hardware Maintenance and Update Maintenance from week to week.

• VIP boxes will be blocked from the Rodex
• We will be releasing the first client stability patch

Enriched event already happened, probably the next Enriched event is around Nov-Dec of 2022 or Dec 2022-Jan 2023

Wasn't VIP already blocked from rodex? I've tried before and I couldn't attach it. Unless its the free 1 or 3 day ones they've given out in the past.

while i know this is a hardware maint. what about the characters who cannot do event quest because they have done it previously?

Just a few minor notes concerning current events.

 

Noodle Festival Event

1. No guide whatsoever on the site ( if intentional ignore, previous year's guide is not congruent )

2. Sea worms drop an item " Round Flat Stone " that previously had a use in last year's event, currently has no use.

3. Just a overall feeling of emptiness with the event, especially in light of the fact that last year's included a special " Fan " item that you could receive, another set of quest NPCs ( family that used the stones ), and another dungeon area with additional rewards.

 

Current Spotlight 

1. The Spotlight is an interesting feature that would be quite interesting if rotated frequently and could be used to invite players to visit locations that are rarely touched, however the Spotlight rarely changes.

2. It has been noted in several different topic replies over the last several weeks that it currently does not function correctly and seems to actually reduce the experienced gained from the enemies listed, which if I understand correctly it should instead increase the experience gained.

- Imperial Glory : When sum of base AGI and VIT is 50 (MDEF + 4, Reduce after cast delay by 3%) >>> now, it's give hard DEF not MDEF.
- Striking Mail [1] : add All Stat+10 to description.

My feedback about the Noodle Festival Event, I feel the amount of seastars, I don't remember the monster name, is too low per map, why I feel that? Because the items dropped by the mob are character bound, and do the quest with alts chars is a pain in the ass

Can we pls reset the event for old chars who’s done the event two years ago? Currently old chars can’t get the costume reward after you complete the daily request 3 times

We're aware of the issue of some players being unable to complete this year's noodle event. We'll reset the event next week so everyone can complete it.
