Our team is still working on fixing the issues in our servers, therefore, we will conduct an emergency maintenance shortly to fix the maps that made the character stuck frequently.

 

We will keep you updated regarding the situation, and we kindly ask for your cooperation to log out from the game beforehand to avoid unwanted things.

Not sure for other players in Thor, but I haven't experienced any problems with the maps servers in Thor, most notably the maps that were having problems before maintenance.

This was expected in launching 4th jobs, as  i remember, if correct, it had similar problems/bug when they lauched the 3rd jobs,, but this time, it seems its more problematic.

 

Anyways, they should have done also the Software maintenance to begin with, not just hardware, which could have included other game fixes.

 

Also, they promised  additional drops as compensation, but they only did the Hardware maintenance.

Yeah i could imagine the horrors when renewal was implemented along with third jobs back then.

20-year-old 2D game that has weekly down time to conduct maintenance. Kind of makes me wonder if weekly maintenance really is necessary when issues are being addressed after it. Like, did you really conduct maintenance at all? Or did you just bring the game down for a couple of hours, do nothing, then bring it back up?

Most maintenances I'd imagine they are simply backing up logs and saves of the server.  and checking integrities to make sure nothing is corrupted or lost basically.  When they do target specific maintenances a lot of it comes in package files sent to them already.  Head GMs like Heimdal and Camp would actually thoroughly test things to make sure they were functioning as intended.  I think the game is just in the hands of teams reliant on multiple games now and is pretty impossible to keep and real track of from person to person.

how about a seperate client server which we can open during maintenance like somewhat a portal client and only 1 area maybe novice training grounds where we can create novices and chat to peoples players during maintenances no portal just a one  map area ...

 

too bored during maintenance nothing to do >_<

 

may i suggest stopping that annoying 90 days password no log in features in war portal sites? there is no like that way back 2003~2019 and the game works fine,

IMO they should just totally close the server for 1 week or so with official precaution, doing a complete overhaul, just like when they restarted for welcoming Ro:Trans.

 

rather than playing minesweeper and RNG for every map you enter.

Hard to find people specifically up to speed on the back end of the games client/server architecture.  That and you got to find someone who is willing to work for what they'll pay in order to manage and maintain that kind of standard.  kRO is probably being ran by people who were fans at some point and time by this point.  They say they don't hire players but believe me its all about hiring someone who's not interested in playing more so then knowing how it should play.

Lol yeah perhaps that would be better, but  i dont know, that's programing stuff-- don't know a thing about it-- but one this is certain, they're seems to lack in the "game testing department" as we're all made to be included in it, like a clinical trial of sorts

Thor Server maps are perfectly fine before maintenance. After this urgent maintenance, my homun bugged again... :/ It was not bugged before this.

i got my offline vending items on second account but not on my main account (which are more expensive).. But i'm happy to see such progress
