Yea don't share your accounts. However with that said, It's alarming how many people share god equips as well/other such things like gear with MvP cards(people really shouldn't be doing that either, unless they are brain dead).
People share stuff with their friends, what is the point of an MMO if you can't share gears with your buddies to play different classes without forking out another hundred bil+

To a point sure, but there's a limit. You probally shouldn't be sharing things that cost near a bill, let alone way more.
If you really want to help them, teach them to farm/party up to farm a area the friend couldn't normally do them selves.

I have been playing some MMOs for over 10 years and have nothing better to do with the items and in game currency built up other than to give it a way to my partner and friends. Its not everything but its more than what some people start a new game with.
RO being as old as it is, I can only imagine the items in people's limited inventory space and the rate of inflation caused by the cash shop.
There is certainly a limit with MVP slotted items and some really rare stuff. But the value of these items may stack up when you are just giving a friend old stuff that isn't used anymore. Costumes could stack up a bit if one doesn't consider or know the value of it. But even then, these trades are not going to stack on a massive scale.
Basically what I"m saying is, Its only when I see like a line of 27 vends in Prontera all with shop names 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, I get the feeling that someone is trading items on a massive enough scale to not just be circumstance. The trade with a buddy is not going to equal 10+ characters worth of items. I hope not at least.

But they do know how to play, it's just if 1 friend is invested in EM gear and the other is invested in DK gear it's nice to borrow/trade stuff to play a different class. Or just when min/maxing or for leveling a character/etc. Or if they want to borrow gear for doing high end mvping/instances. If friend A has 250b in DK gear but no EM gear and it's the opposite for friend B and they trust eachother they can both enjoy both classes without making another 250b.
Me and the friends/guildies share mvps all the time for stuff like this. Or in the woe scene short term lending during woe for people missing a key item or whatever. Borrowing/lending some of our stuff to eachother for months at a time isn't even uncommon.
Would be nice if there was an official lend option similar to how rental gods work but that's asking too much of RO team.

Ok. That is a bit more than even I was thinking about. But it helps put things more in perspective. Its also an example that some people can be close enough for some trades.
WOE is the one thing that did slip my mind and may explain a lot more where this back and forth with trade comes from.
In that case, account bound specific items is even more a likely fix for that. Not all high value items, like costumes, are going to make or break WOE. But maybe for the ones that are highly influential, they can stay on one account.

[Edit - Combined several posts/rants into one]
It’s not too hard to make zeny once you have a few billions. Take for example, I bought a priest armor, Amazing Grace for 1.3b. Then the OCP ends and I sell it for 4b. That equates to 2.7b gain. Then I see someone selling it for 2.5b so I buy it again. Then another buys it for 4b again. That’s another 1.5b gained. This is a fun game of trades. Farming PWM, trading up, and selling BSBs from spend event make good money. I actually sent recording of those trades in the support ticket, along with all my other multi-character trades, but they still tell me that my account’s suspension cannot be lifted. I have no idea why my account is banned.
When episode 17.2 first came out, during 1st week. I did farmed and sold one of the first Greater Papila Ruba Card for items and zeny worth 5.5b. I also dropped a Bath Manager Card during the second week and sold it for items and zeny worth ~8b. BB iRO was one of my potential buyers, so he can attest that he saw my Greater Papila Ruba card in Eden on his lancelot character.
Anyway, I hope Warp Portal would change their policy and at least tell me what I did wrong so that I can acquit myself and release my account from suspension.
This game is fun but it sucks to be banned unjustly.

There are those guys too, who troll buys Zeny from people who RMT then just report them straight up to the GM after buying.
The people who report and come clean then delete Zeny is probably safe from ban as they have justification, although they would have lost $$, but taking down RMT or their business is probably satisfying for that player .
I assume those RMT have like hundreds of billions or even trillion of Zeny. Also, the GM can easily trace all the buyers from that one RMT seller.
Remember we all leave footprints, there some identifiers in the logs or game that cannot be deleted. Also, if I thought of this, the GM's have probably thought about this too.

I'm kind of alittle bit shocked that RMT is still a thing, since there's a legal way to buy zenny(ie sell shop items/OCP drops). Furthermore not only will such not get your account nuked, but this greatly increases the chances of getting way more then you bargained for, not to mention it helps keep there servers running.
