KVM? Since when are the GM's interested in fixing KvM battlegrounds? Since it doesn't generate $$$ for them or at least haven't p0lluted it with their money grubbing way$. Instead they :pif: up everyone that didn't had a KvM weapon and future players with the combination of HD + Lucky box. Plus, ontop of that killing any chance of people wanting to go to the battleground and get their items.

This isn't pay to make your life easy like Bubblegums, battlemanual, scrolls and such, it's pay 2 win giving everything on a silverplate to the rich kids on the block or veteran players that has zeny to spend to people willing to Pay real life money for kafra points (or sex :Emo_14: ).

Old rant, old story, keep on walking.

um, it only cost me ~200m worth of box trade-ins to get a +9 kvm weapon, which is pretty cheap. I could have had zero zeni and just farmed blue herbs/<insert woe consumable> for the first week of the event and still got my KVM gear.

People are upset they missed a promotion, well sure its fine to be upset about it. People got upset for missing out on well chewed pencils, spare cards and rideword hats the first time around.

this game is all about elitist players. didn't you know it ? if everyone had +9 KvM, then there wouldn't be anymore elitist :Emo_14:

even though you cant deny, that iRO is dying slowly because of the gap between "new" and "old" players which makes new ppl (especially those from PS) find its not worth to join the server.

Out of curiosity, how many boxes was that? I used 6000kp on boxes + trade-ins and I wasn't "lucky" enough to get any KVM badges. I also didn't have 2 billion zeny lying around to buy the badges that people were charging ridiculous prices for after Gravity foolishly decided to make them non-tradable.

People are upset they missed a promotion, well sure its fine to be upset about it. People got upset for missing out on well chewed pencils, spare cards and rideword hats the first time around.

Ah, but while people can still buy well-chewed pencils, spare cards, and rideword hats on the market, they can't buy a +9 kvm weapon. How long does it take to score just one weapon? 100 hours? Now multiply that by 27. Even at minimum wage you're already in the tens of thousands of USD, and you still have >35% chance to walk away with nothing.

its supposed to take months for a KVM weapon. yes the Gms messed up with the kvm+HD ores. But asking for more so everyone else can get them is just more complaining and bitching why not take your own advice and go get some people and try to get KVM going and if not im sure their will be KVM badges in boxes again.

you could have taken advantage of the box farming Christmas event? did that ever occur to you? A little less work on getting KVm badges there.

So yes im saying your lazy :Emo_14:

LOL I love how you like to be s smart-_- but first of all, I never asked for any compensation, my topic would seem to be a reasonable content for me to "ask" the GM's for their future plans with this.

Point out to me the part where I demanded anything. please.

Sencond, you yourself just said GM's messed up, and we all know that. Your choice is to let those people who have the over-powered weapons which is nearly unobtainable otherwise and do nothing about it bcz were simply "too lazy to ask GM's for a solution"

3rd, im not basing this topic solely on MYSELF but for the rest of the people who wernt maybe "around" for the christmas events. maybe it occured to you that some people started playing "after" the events, and some were "unable" to play during those times.

Once again, This thread isn't ment to demand anything, its a simple post with a simple questions to the GM's and my questions pretty much means "is there going to be ANOTHER event which we can take advantage of to get this done" not GIVE ME A +9 KVM NAO.

please think before posting and stop applying your own thoughts onto someone elses thinking we all share the same values and opinions.

All it means is that those who spend more $$$ get to reap the benefits. While those who did not spend $$$ Get screwed that is the way this game has been for quite some time now.

So what you didn't spend more money to get the benefits. Your screwed go farm a weapon no matter how long it takes. All you want is to get compensation for what you think you SHOULD have just because others have it. All the HD ores did was screw and already unbalanced game even further.

The fact that multiple people have them is i will say :Emo_14: up. An item that is highly unobtainable unless you are devoted to KVM for id say a few months of straight play day after day with barely any break for just ONE let alone the fact that to get a +9 even with HD ores you would need quite a few with the revised effect. Those who have it have a massive advantage against those who dont.

So yea i see something wrong here the same thing that has been wrong those who spend more $$$ get more benefits but that's life :pif: happens

Story of ANY MMO with cash shops.

Why play the video game when you can take your mothers credit card and buy everything to make it so you have to play less of the game and later on you can go on with your E-Ego saying your pro because you can type in 16 digit number and security code.

Just KvM with guildies and friend. Won't be fast but what do you expect for some of the better weapons/gear ingame.

I don't get what the GMs were thinking. Adding in KVM badges for a limited time in boxes and making the HD Ores so crazy then taking them out just widens the gap between the veterans and the new players. On the otherhand, zeny is low and there are too many items on the market (why in the world did you guys think a 2x drops event would be something good? Nothing sells.) So it's like half catering toward new players and half shutting them out for not playing earlier.

I think you guys should let us stat headgear / mants / shields / shoes to get some items to actually break and to make people actually buy some junk to update their gear. +15 to certain stats isn't that much, considering you guys flooded the game with +20 foods.

really? pretty sad how thats the only thing you were able to point out... Is that all you can say to make yourself look smart in a internationally-run game/foum where English is a 2nd languge to half the people playing the game?

You show a typical behavior of a kid with a sad life no friends, and nowhere to let his steam off than on the forums on this game. I dont know where this agression is comin from but if it makes your life a bit happier, fine.

please take your amazing english skills somewhere else and stop "bitching" (a quote from you) about our complaints cuz you obviously don't work here.

once again, I would like to clear it up to you folks who think im "demanding" a +9 KVM or something, please read the topic throughly before posting.

OP of this thread is simply asking if there will be another event where we could get a chance to do JUST that (spend money to win or whatever).

whats with the angry trolls who just cant bring themselves to read/post a topic without trying to mak themselves sound oh-ever-so-cool and care-free about the situation.... if you really didnt care you wouldnt even post here.

I can see how you feel, I wasn't lucky enough to get a +9 KvM weapon myself during the event. But one must consider that even if the event is put back in, there will always be others who miss out.
People who come back a week later, those who didn't have money during the event... etc. etc.
What can Gravity do? Just keep putting in events for those who missed it and risk making PvP even more unbalanced than it already is by allowing more +9 KvM weapons to appear?
The only way this would work, without getting any more tears in the future, is if KvM gears became tradable. If not, putting in more events will just widen the rather massive gap that is already between those with +9 gears from the HD ores, and those who didn't have the ability to +9 things at the time.

I do agree with you that there will always be people who miss such events.

one way i can see this work is if HD ores became a rare drop (from a very hard, high level to farm/bot map/monsters, or MVPs im sure the GM's could set a reasonable drop rate on it) instead of a KP shop item, and the effects go back to +4 and higher.

This way the server wont be flooded with HD's and takes away the ability for players to simply purchase hundreds of them from the KP shop and mass upgrade to above +4.

It would also put a good amount of zeny value on the HD ores itself (obviously dependin on how hard they are to obtain), which would also help setting the price values of over-upgraded items.

So, before all this, people had to farm MVPs/items tens of times to get a chance to upgrade an item to beyond +4.
This way, people will still have to farm HD ores even if they don't need more than 1 of each item.

Just wanted to point out that...
this "theory" of yours only applies to immature kids (which is fine ofcourse, its a game).

In case people havent noticed, many of the veterans/players of this game are past their early 20's in age, many in mid, late 20,s some are even in their 30's and 40's.
most people in this age group have their own credit/debit cards to pay-2-win for themselves, who wants to get owned or left behind, when the possibility is there?

Let me share a short example.

Youre in your mid-20s, have a job, a career and some spare time to play some online games you truely enjoy... lets say about 3 hours a day for a full-time working man.
kids who go to school, come home, play games 24/7 have alot of spare time to quote *play-2-win
We simply dont have that option. either we pay for the extra benefits to even have a chance of KEEPING UP, or stay behind and be a noob all our lives with horrible gears.

Now lets say you make $20 an hour on your job. (which is what a normal 4 year university graduate could be making at the start of his job).
We can now chose to spend the rest of our day farming gears and MVP's (I dont know how grinding same mob for hours on end spamming 1 skill or hunting same MVP over and over again makes you a better player but sure), hoping to making some zeny, or just spend an hour equivelent of work in the real world($20), and come up with 150~200m in zeny. (another example; how much better did you actually get in terms of "skills" going from level 100 to level 130? dont know if you have one in that level range, but I feel I was just as good with micro/control of my character when I was level 100, as I am now at level 130+.)

I pay my way to my items, but its definetly not for the "EGO" of being able to say I HAVE BETTER ITEMS THAN YOU! HA, its so that we can stand on a even playing field with those who have been playin the game for years and years/those who have the time to play 10 hours a day.

if youre going to say "why play the game if youre not going to actually work at it",
I will say "its a game, and it was ment to be enjoyed in any way people feel it should be enjoyed for themselves, and if this is how I enjoy it, why does it matter to you?"

Also, all of you who never spend any money.... be glad there are plenty of those so-called "rich kids" you guys like to bash on because theyre keeping your so-called "free-2-play" valkyrie servers running and GM's paid. without us, you wouldnt even have a server to log onto.

If you make +9 too easy, the people who invested a lot of $$$ in KP will get shafted and will be discouraged from making investments into RO in the future.

If it's too difficult, as stated many times, there will be only a select few ingame with +9 KVM gears.

I think the solution that would make 'the most people' happy is to just make the KVM gears trade-able (I know this was already said). It's really a good idea.

Guys, let me ask you this.

If you get the "+9 your kvm weapon event", where you can get a +9 kvm. What will happen when that's over?

I'll answer that for you; Same thing that's happening now. People will complain that they didn't get their +9 kvm and make threads like these.

"Events" like these are one of a kind, they're supposed to be limited. Same as anything.

That's what RO was largely about before, items and events were limited and people complained, and after a year or more you could boast or show your item as a rare.
Having all of the event rares and normal rares in your inventory is cool, but comes at a price. You have to be following the game all the time so you get stuff for events and such. You also have to have money to get wpe when those event items surface, or the time to hunt them if that's the case.

There's a lot that is time-limited and it should be like that. You can't have everything.

When you lose/lost the bus for school, you can't complain and have it come back for you.

im sure you can see that this is a slightly different situation.
there was never an event that allowed players to recieve the top-of-the-line (like seriously top of the line) PVP gears like this one. lets face it. most of the players play the game to interact with one another, this mainly means pvp since there arnt really many parties going on.

WOE is pretty much the main aspect of the game and people level up and work hard to get gears that will allow them to, eventually, come out victorious in PVP/WOE against other "players".

This thoughtless event allows few players to recieve the items that pretty much defeats the purpose of doing the said things. they dont ever need to farm anything for their character ever. that character with account bound +9 KVM weapon will never need another one for as long as he plays the game.

rest of us will never be ABLE to get a weapon that strong no matter HOW long we play the game.

Coincidentally, these "top of the line PVP gears" are free from the KVM Battlegrounds. All you technically need to do is play KVM often enough and the rest just costs you ores.

That's not to say how practical this may or may not be. I think that the issue is the 'accessibility' of KVM is right now -- rather than the upgrading.

if it could be fixed one way or another im sure how wouldnt really matter.
if they could somehow draw enough people to join KVM battles so that we could actually get supplies of KVM weapons, then we probably dont need HD's, but if were having 5 rounds a week. its going to take us a year to get 1.

think about it. how many people would actually spend all this time farming a KVM item that YOU KNOW you wont get above +4, when you can simply PURCHASE other +9 upgraded items which in comparison to a +4 KVM one is not bad at all, KVM's true effects come at +9 and its freakin devestating, deveastating enough that for example;

+9 KVM glorious jam with its +9 buff will actually do BETTER OVERALL DMG than a +10 quad aural specialty jur on a crit GX, well ofcourse right? but this applies to monsters of all types, not just in PVP. its +9 effect is so powerful, that even without its bonus damage to DEMI HUMAN is applied to a monster (lets say youre killing dragon type), it still does better damage than whats suppost to be the most powerful crit jur in the game (or if you wanna argue about it, 4x paper carded one would be highest dmg, not 4x mobsters).

now you apply that in pvp mode? jesus christ.
(not to mention theyre also the best weapons to farm BIO labs with which is pretty much the end game content.)

but +9 is un-purchaseable, and its effects are uncompareable to any other PVP-use weapon in game. therefore its either have it or never get one. and its not like a spare card im sure we all know that.

You are severely misinformed.

Specialty Jur is a level 1 weapon. It's much easier to +10 one than +9 a KVM weapon (level 4). Also, a +10 Triple Aural Jur outputs more DPS than a +10 Quad Aural Spec Jur in Renewal.

and I assure you, a +10 Triple Aural Jur does more DPS (and has higher crit chance) than a +9 Glorious Jamadhar against non-Demihuman creatures.

Doesnt really matter how much easier it is since they were all easy to make at the time.

do you have both? bcz I've tested my dmg with quad aural and i've seen a gx with same amount of str (110) using a triple on a jur[3]. I was doing more dmg.

and heres a demonstration of this +9 KVM jam (consider my GX which is higher level than him with 110 str does lower dmg crits to isilla/vanburk with 4x mobster spec jur +10, ofcourse these are demi-humans tho)
