Ok, looking the "hidden" now not that "hidden" information... What about "Phoenix"?
You want a name for a long term project: Phoenix have a life-cycle of 1000 years. For some time they changed the colours of the RO logo in kRO to yellow: Phoenix is on fire (Yellow and Red) (also if someone said it was gold, the tail is gold in Phoenix too). Phoenix when it's about to die, burns himself (like RO with their mechanics etc) and revives himself. Also according to wikipedia "The Phoenix has long been presented as a symbol of rebirth, immortality, and renewal".
Of the names suggested so far, this fits the best.
Close second would have to be Yggdrasil.

PS: Heim, is L5 games still around? (*did they disband, merge with Gravity Interactive, or just been quiet?)
L5 games entered liquidation in 2008. It is no more. It never really was..

From: Ragnarok: Gylfaginning chapters 52 and 53
Chapter 53 begins with Gangleri asking if any of the gods will survive, and if there will be anything left of the earth or the sky. High responds that the earth will appear once more from the sea, beautiful and green, where self-sown crops grow. The field Iðavöllr exists where Asgard once was, and, there, untouched by Surtr's flames, VÃðarr and Váli reside. Now possessing their father's hammer Mjolnir, Thor's sons Móði and Magni will meet them there, and, coming from Hel, Baldr and Höðr also arrive. Together, they all sit together and recount memories, later finding the gold game pieces the Ã?sir once owned. Völuspá stanza 51 is then quoted.
From: Iðavöllr
And Iðavöllr can be written as Ithavoll which is...
Iðavöllr (Old Norse possibly "splendour-plain") is a location referenced twice in Völuspá, the first poem in the Poetic Edda, as a meeting place of the gods.
Though simply Phoenix and Renewal works for me too. But then, why can we not simply take the title of the game itself? Ragnarok
The story IS about the destruction and rebirth of the world from a Godly war.

How about Valhalla.
Totally fitting given the subject matter. Too bad the community will be like "but that was a guild a year ago"
