Ticket system isn't working.

After doing what you need to do to send... it just loads forever. Sitting for 1 hour or longer and its still loading. Whats the problem now? Still fixing the site? Did you guys JUST fix forums only? what the...

Speaking to a wall it's even better than the current ticket system.

And no, I'm not trolling. Ticket system = speak to a wall.

Yeah, more people have that issue. It seems to be irregular however and not related to anything specific.
Try clearing your temp internet files and cookies, change your browser, and some people swear it works if you press 'back' on your browser after it loads a while.
For me, the clearing temp files usually works, that or just trying a second/third time.

And sadly enough, Fibrizzo is right, they are waaaaaaaay behind on tickets again :S

Edit: I remember a mod once saying that they were wondering if it was related to being logged in or not, maybe you can try playing with that, see if it changes anything.

I've noticed tickets are slower to send since the forum hijack/revamp. Nothing else about the ticket system seems as slow, just the actual sending. It seems the server is struggling with receiving data requests. Display requests (viewing tickets, loging in, browsing) seems OK. I have to leave the Sending page open for quite awhile. I didn't have the issue before a couple months back when I had to keep using the ticket system to sort my post-merge account out.

i really hate using the ticket system and avoid it like the plague. i shouldnt have to submit a digital blood sample just to report a bot or something is very broken, my warpportal login should be enough for it. ANYWAY... i dont know any brick walls that send me email, maybe it's not quite so bad as a brick wall? perhaps more like the DMV, where you wait 3-5 days in one line only to be told despite the sign clearly telling you to be in this line, you need to be in the other one and that the sign is working as intended.

Yea I have the same experiences. The response from support team seems to be super slow these days. I wonder if there's something wrong with the ticket system. It seems that they never get the ticket even you make a successful submit.

We are getting hundreds of tickets per day, so I know it is working on some level. But I also see several reports like this as well.

Try using Internet explorer.

If you still have problems please let us know

where you are (like where on earth)
What Operating system
What browser.

100 tickets daily!? Wow, are they all bot reports or god item transefers....or password problems?

Why should people have to use Internet Explorer? I know you had to back in pre-2006 when whoever programmed the RO website had no concept of browser compatibility, but why now? Coding a site specifically for Internet Explorer is a bad idea since IE is usually the one who follows web standards the least (W3C). It's better to program specifically for code standards so that most browsers are compatible. Then make exceptions afterwards for non-standard Internet Explorer practises that cause display bugs.

I use Firefox, UK, Windows 7.

Also it only started happening after the site had to go down and back up again after the hijack. Before that I had to repeatedly use the ticket system to sort out some post-merge account issues etc. and didn't notice such problems. Same settings (Firefox etc.).

that explains why the response from the tickets these past few days is specially slow.

i've been waiting for a reply in my ticket for 4days now.

Issues like how to bind account to warp portal should have links on the main page (in huge font since most people don't notice important links :)) leading them directly to where they should go, so that no one needs to waste their time constantly answering questions like how to bind accounts or how to reset passwords. It must really get irritating, and slows the process for more important issue imo.
