I'm trying caster type  build and I think this build is underrated 

 

Copy ME is really good  for leveling when TI have a lot of Undeads / Demons      

 

w/ 2x Valk Drops  + Magician Knit hat + Abyss Dress    ME dmg is close enough to AB      especially on Undeads 

 

(I have gears from my WL and AB)

 

for non Undead / Demon   I just copied  WL (or Sorc)   skills with Reproduce  

 

and this is my gears for this build  (I wish if I can afford   4x True KK Valk Knife  for Crimson Rocks  that's will be powerful  )

I don't have SP problem since  both 2nd / 3rd  class copied skill can one shot mobs      

 

I copied third class skill for killing  non undead / demon type  

 

 

but for HP leech of course  this is main problem   for magic SC   = ="

 

 

 

or if TI don't have demon or undead    I can switch to physical gears   

 

because I'm not have only AB , WL   but have  IB RK ,  Ranger   on main account  that I can copy + share gears   when I want   too 

 

start at 120 Dex  maybe I'll copy AS from my main Ranger would be the good idea to do now

 

* and maybe will have   Wandy for third account for copy SR + alt when go Bio4

 

 

 

for stat  I still plan  , possible to reset later   

 

I have gears from main characters so I can switch depend on skill I copied /  monster I'm leveling at  

 

maybe I'll leveling with Magic and Bow

Here is breakdown of some chaser builds (of all builds, always consider using abyss dress for fighting undeads/demons, or engkanto for fighting poisons):

 

1. Bow (get lv 10 double strafe as stalker for emerald ring dmg boost)

a. SR (requires 120 dex, 120 agi)

+9 and above vigilante bow (put 2x true trentini cards for max dmg)

imperial feather + RG necklace combo

evil marching hat / +9 very normal hat / white eddga

temp dex boots 

vigilante suit or MBTA or EDA (carded with byorgue for dmg, or elementals for defensive)

2x emerald rings

b. Arrow Storm (requires 120 dex, 120 str or 120 int)

+9 and above vigilante bow

tengu set (if 120 str) or seraphim coronet (if 120 int)

temp dex boots

2x emerald rings

 

2. Melee (get lv 10 double strafe as stalker for emerald ring dmg boost)

a. Ignition Break (120 str)

twin edge of naght sieger (put 3x true seyren cards for max dmg)

+9 very normal hat 

MBTA or EDA (carded with byorgue for dmg, or elementals for defensive)

similar setup to Pwave, except you need these for max damage:

high refined valk knife (put 4x true KK cards for max dmg)

high refined garment GFSS / FAW (put nightmare ancient mummy card)

c. Chain Lightning

Similar setup to Pwave, except you need these for max damage:

survival circlet

survivor orb

survivor shoes

and card your accessories with elvira card

d. Magnus Exorcimus

magician knit hat

mob scarf

flattery / agenda robe with int enchant

temp dex / int

2x valk drops

 

4. Autocaster

high refined lunar rainbow

valk knife with Laurell, Pitman, Hill Wind, Red Ferus card

celine brooch

evil spirit glove

temp agi boots with aspd and runaway magic enchant

flattery / agenda robe with int enchant

mob scarf set / imperial set or gambler set if you need aspd

ASPD garment or defensive garment (if you have 193 aspd already)

 

All builds are viable for leveling. It depends on your playstyle, i myself love SR build due to versatility.

My opinion about ME build 

 

 

+9 Magician knit hat

Mob scarf set

+9 Abyss Dress  < Best armor   especially  Undead / Demon  race  +  Undead / Shadow element combine    and they're main target for ME

+9 Temporal Dex  [Nightmare Verit]   <  because you can't have insta cast like Shrine Maiden AB   and ME have long fix cast time

2x Valk drops

FAW Spell 19  is luxury     cheaper  choice  is    +7 Adventurer Spirit  / +9 HBP   for MATK boost   ,   DR Etrans for defensive  

 

3x Ancient Trees   1x Nightmare Mimic Valk Knife     and     Nightmare Arclouse shield   for Undead 
3x Hell Apocalypses   1x  Big Ben  and  Neo Punk shield   for Demon

 

need to focus boosting magic dmg against  Undead or Demon  which are main target for killing with ME 

 

 

but I think ME SC better on Undead than Demon    because   Magician Knit hat increase  25% magical on Undead    

for Demon  use other hat   such as   Celine Ribbon , Very Normal Hat  , Zaha Doll    better....

 

 

 

 

 

Additional  recommended 3rd Class Skill  depend on situations   (previous comment already have  P.Wave , Crimson Rock , Chain Lightning)

 

 

 

 Soul Expansion =  if you put Elvira on Valk Drops  ,   Lichtern Yellow on Top / Mid headgear    this would be good combination      Ghost element can do more damage on Undead

 

              also good against Ghost element mobs         even your SE not strong as WL who have Intensification   but  it's fine

 

also you can bring WL gears  such as    Celine Brooch [Elvira] ,  Magician Glove  [Elvira]   <  can get 100% MDEF bypass if combo with Nightmare Pyramid card combo on Valk Knife + Shield 

 

maybe  this SC can go Horror Toy Factory      most mobs are  Demon / Undead   for  using ME    and change to 100% bypass gear use SE for Kimi

even you need to have more time to kill  Kimi

 

 

 

BTW I think   ME+SE   is a pure Undead slayer    both skill combine can kill them like a cake.....

 

 

Note :  If planning to put Elvira on Valk Drop   you can be effective with Chain Lightning too....   

 

when going Bio4 with friends / guildmates *   you'll be effective to kill Chen  with ME+CL combo

    but downside is  copied CL drain your SP very fast  when spamming on Magic String  even you're standing on Gypsy's Kiss  :<

 

*  hard to find public random party as a SC    unless you have Gwings or bring String / Wandy alt  that's worth enough to getting accepted / recruited

 so you can focus to kill mobs with your SC   so that's why I recommend to go with friends / guildmates   

 

 

 

Drain Life =   If plan to leveling at Nameless Island   that's have all Undead / Demon  type   and your ME can one shot all of them   don't need other 3rd class skill for killing  non-Undead / Demon

 

             and you don't want to waste potions  

 

or even TI  have Demon / Undead couple only     (Example past TI :     Harpy+Rybio  ,   Wakwak+Remover   ,    Flame Skull+Zombie Slaghter   etc.) 
      only ME  is enough to kill them      Drain Life just act like AB's High Heal 

 

 

 

Diamond Dust =  Good for leveling Nogg     ME for Nightmare Terrors , Any Demon who step in     DD for killing most mobs

Dont attempt to copy elemental sorcerer skills (earth grave, varetyr spear, diamond dust), since SC will be biting the dust due to requirement for endow tsunami, endow quake and endow tornado. without those, your damage only 1/3 of the sorcs.

Bow Type can definitely survive and even kill in PvP but requires proper setup( Unlike Manhole+Landmine combo).

 

It depends whether you play solo or with a party. When you're with a group , your role will automatically be the debuffer/crippler because that's what you do best so leave the killing to the actual killers, while in solo play you're the debuffer and the killer at the same time(that's why I prefer solo gaming ) so in order to be successful, you need to make sure that your Masq skills are on point.

 

To give you an idea of a WoE SC you can check this guide, it pretty much sums up a typical WoE SC while in PvP, you need to think of ways on how to maximize your damage(based on what skills you want to copy) while maintaining high Masq success chance so stat allocation is a little different from the WoE SC which focus more on being tanky.

 

Rogue class's true PvP potential has been locked since they disabled Snatch skill in PvP(Fatal Menace worked in pRO), if this skill was enabled there'd be a lot of kidnapping and killing in PvP rooms.

OK  so for Sorc's skill   P.Wave is the best for copy  right ? 

 

BTW I just recommend DD only Nogg  because the fire element mobs not have higher than 10k HP    so even  1/3 dmg from Sorc   but still possible one shot with right gear     at higher level   P.Wave  or  elemental WL's skills better  

 

and land ME on the ground for killing Demons

I don't think there's enough crit gear available to really do a 100% crit rate right now, tbh. I think even as a sin with the double-crit bonus of katars, it will still take some scraping together to get 100%.

ok,so u have to calculalte steal change and divide per 5 to get a idea how much % u get per auto attack right?

 

does double attack conts as 2,how triple attack (monk still)works it (curiosity)

 

can i just get an idea using a calculator as getting how many hits does it take?

^ I'm not sure about the details, to be honest. I haven't used Gank in ages, so I'm not sure how the double-attack-can-crit could have affected it -- but my guess is no, only normal hit scan proc gank/steal since it's a skill.

use +10 Black Feather for 100 bypass

Sightless mind is very good to use now as it gives all monsters it hits a 20% daamage bonus for next subsequent hits with skills and physical attacks.

 

Truely helps to make my Fatal Menace Chaser shine further

Hey all, need some help! Returning player from back in the early days.


I’ve been off and on with iro for decades now. I jumped back in when Sakray was implemented and stopped around 2005. Jumped back again in 2010 and off in 2012.


I’ve been able to carry my main Sakray Character throughout and he’s currently sitting in iro Choas as a Stalker level 95. He’s all INT and DEX with Earth Spike 2 plagiarized. It’s been so long I have no idea what I was trying to do! I try going to places in my level range but I get slaughtered. Trying to get some ideas on what to do with this character. Any insight or direction would be extremely helpful. Gear wise I don’t have much!
