Dragon Saga Professions Guide v.1.0

This guide is a general rough guide for Professions. This is to help with some of the confusion regarding Professions. The guide will run through the topics below and may be edited with changes. A link to this guide will be placed on the forums until an actual guide section for Professions has been completed for the website. That guide will be much neater, cleaner, and better looking.

Also would it be okay to ask what "enchant expand, soul shift etc" actually do. Because I have been hearing different statements saying that soul expand adds options while others say it multiplies the value of current options.

Every 6 hours [game time] players heal 25% of the fatigue bar. Doesn't matter if your online or offline

Also would it be okay to ask what "enchant expand, soul shift etc" actually do. Because I have been hearing different statements saying that soul expand adds options while others say it multiplies the value of current options.

Enchant Shift: Transfer the enchantment (+value, 1-20) of a weapon, armor or accessory item to another of the same type.

Soul Shift: Transfer the soulcrafted options of a weapon, armor or accessory item to another of the same type.

Soulcraft (Option) Expand: Apply a multiplier (1.2x-3.0x) to the current soulcrafted options on a weapon, armor or accessory item.

Keep in mind, all of these processes have a chance of failure and the effects reportedly vary (from destroying the item to lowering the enchantment level to resetting the amplification/expansion), so perform them at your own risk. I'd recommend trying it out on a few garbage equips first so you understand how the process works and what can happen when it fails.

Also, socketing is a whole different issue altogether that I have yet to explore at all, so not much I can offer on that. Essentially, you create sockets on an item and then socket "cards" that come with various effects attached, after which you can put the cards in the sockets on your items to add new effects.

Correct. And as far as I know, you obtain insurance by producing with Grade 5 and 6 materials (it's a random chance of receiving some insurance), but not positive on that -- going off of vague information from IAH.
