So which weapon do you think is better to use, duel daggers or katar? I am an assassin cross and mostly do PVM and I'm just confused about which weapon I should be using. Thanks!

You made it to assassin cross without figuring out weapon basics?
It really all depends on what kind of assassin you want to be. Do you want to be a Crit Assassin (Katars) Or a dual wield Assassin (daggers)?

It also depends on what you are leveling on. Katar weapons deal the most damage to Medium sized monsters, while dagger weapons deal the most damage to small sized monsters.

Katar size modifier is:
75% to small monsters
100% to medium monsters
75% to large monsters

Dagger size modifier is:
100% to small monsters
75% to medium monsters
50% to Large monsters

You can use this site to figure out information about the monsters you would like to level on.

Thanks! That was helpful! I had been using duel daggers as I leveled my sin but now that I have advanced katar mastery I just wasn't sure if I should stick with daggers.

Also, non-crit katar is a very viable build if you wear a chick or snake hat (so double attack works with your katar). Katars aren't just for crit.
