Well, did you install and patched the game without troubles and it doesnt start or have problems to patch?

First, go to the requiem folder and open the Version.dat file with notepad. Both numbers, inside of that file, should end with 433 (latest patch number), if they dont then post what it said here, but dont change them.

In the case that all that is fine, then something is blocking the game from start. First thing to do, is be sure that you are running the game as administrator, the second would be to move the installed game outside the Program Files folder (if you have it there, ofc). If you alredy did that, then check try to allow it in the DEP, and check if your anti-virus and firewall arnt blocking it: Issues with installing, updating or launching Requiem successfully

Check for more guides in my signature (press the "show" button).

Hey Nadesh,

When I patch my Requiem/Full patch it also I have 0% problems with patching It's just the starting bit that's not working and the patch in VERSION.DAT Is:

UserGameVersion=00000433;
UserPatchVersion=00000433;

Secondly I'm running In Administrator and testing Compatebility Mode my Firewall Is off and my Requiem Is in the exception list (Of Firewall) but my Comodo Firewall Is on and my Requiem Is already "Trusted" like in the exception list same as real windows firewall, the only thing I didn't check is DEP which i'm going to test now =)

Ok, if it patch correctly, then the problem isnt the game but something in your pc that is blocking it. If you have the game installed in the Program Files folder, try to move it to another place. Also, the compatibility mode, i read that XP SP3 should work.

Also, many people had problems with Comodo, some needed to uninstall it to be able to run the game. Try to make a search in the forum with the keyword "Comodo" and read the threads, maybe someone posted an alternative to dont need to uninstall it.

nah you dont have to uninstall comodo, all you do is Disable it, it's the same as uninstalling it ;p

but question when i add requiem files to the DEP i get:

Launcher
TODO:<File Description> = Patch Download.exe
Updater

Is that supose to be like that o,o

i added them to the DEP and It doesn't work x.x

Did you move the requiem folder outside the Program Files one?

Well, the DEP thing should be fine, if you added the files they said in the article.

Also, as a test, if you can, uninstall Comodo and try to run the game, if it run, you will know that the problem is Comodo blocking it. I dont said that you should keep it uninstalled, just that in that way you know where to focus to solve the problem. Bcs some said that add the game to the Comodo exceptions isnt enough, must be added in other places but sadly cant remember it.

Patch and launch, didnt you have it patched alredy? In any case, it let you move the full game or something was left behind? Also, once you move it, dont execute it from the icon in the desktop, go to the requiem folder and execute the UpdaterUsa.exe file

Corrupted dlls? which ones?

Here you have some alternative downloads: http://forums.warppo...203#entry475203 you can download the separated cabs from here http://download.warp...lient/download/

But if the client patched, i doubt that the problem is a corrupted client.

Not sure about how to solve that, maybe update the DirectX? dont know. Try to sumbit a ticket to the support and see what they answer, also search for that error in google, it may give you some answers.

Sumbit the ticket here https://support.warp...in/Default.aspx also add a link to this thread, and explain them what happen, that way they will have a better idea of the solution.

(edited) i maybe found something:

Well, the one that made this guide http://forums.warppo...ows-7-or-vista/ had Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with directX 11, but is true that most people having problems with the game, have windows 7 64 bits.

yeah exzactly lol they might have a guide for how to fix it for windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with direct x 11, but the thing is the GAME Is NOT coded for windows 7, it's only coded for windows Vista I had vista before and my requiem works fine so the only problem is that the game is not codded for windows 7 64 bit really...what they really need to do is re-code their client and add windows 7, and windows vista is completly diffrent coding to windows 7, windows 7 has more security enhancements it's alot more on the secruity side, so yeah even wiki says requiem is only up to windows vista x.x.

From support ticket;

Thank you for your response,

We will send this information to our technical team for further review.

A bit of disclosure: we have tested and successfully run Requiem through Windows 7 on our terminals. So it should be possible to do so...however with the issues you are describing, further testing and review may be needed.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to contact us again.

Thank you,
