It doesn't even need to be a big part of RO imo, but it should at least be useful for SOMETHING.

Exactly my point. Make crafting useful or don't implement the "feature" at all. Waste of programming space that could be used for implementing a feature that players will use that's actually useful.

theres no reason forged weapons shouldnt already have a random number of slots in them to begin with. i mean come on, random chance of 0 to skill lvl+1 slots, just for example. like i dont know, 50% chance 0, 26% 1, 13% 2, 7% 3, 4% 4. or maybe more favorable odds, i dont care. if not that, atleast add forgable weaps to the slotting npcs.

Forging weps is useless... thats why all the new job classes for Smiths don't have a single skill for forging....

putting that aside... Alchemist still have proper crafting skills... and even if u went pure pot... its okay

as a side not i hear renewal is making luk do moar... so a pure forger shouldn't suck nemore maybe...


And arrow craft is still a big part of ro gamming... (yes i went there... everyone still crafs arrows!!)

+1 To increased benefits from forging. Forging should be the best gear in game in my opinion. ex: Items like Hunting Spear should be an ingredient to make an elemental hunting spear.

As is, forging sucks. Cooking is so-so. And alchemy is decent.

either they should add more forgeable weapons to the list.

ex. Katzbalger, tae-goo, zweihander (2 handed swords)
bloody axe, war axe, etc

or make ranked weapons be able to get to +9 as safe upgraded lvl (+10 would be retarded becouse ranked smiths would never get kicked down, even if they quited IRO)

I agree with this topic - I mean the idea of having the possibility of crafting your own equipment is amazing, and in some games it's done pretty well (like Summon Night, for example), but here in RO... you need a completely specialized build to have a chance of creating such items, and even then the chance is nothing incredible. The same goes for potions, even though Biochemists could do somewhat well with just a high INT/DEX build.

Another thing that annoys me, at least for Alchemists, if how you can only do one of each item at a time, at least before getting Linked. At least they probably learned something about that before starting to work on Renewal, since Special Pharmacy for example gives you 10 of each item at level 10.

Unfortunately I think that is impossible from a programming standpoint. Items with a name can't have slots. It's a technical limitation.

i could Say the secrets of forging that those of us who are studied ragnarok forgers know about in the game and who are reading this.

 

Heck, maybe someone else already said it in another post that i don't know about xD......

but i got no idea if it's worth saying................

     

        Upgrade Certificate became the Fundraiser to keep the game alive which spoiled the new players and killed the Glorified fun aspect of the game called forging @_@u 

 

do people even remembers forgers?

the game could make it so Mechanics could Upgrade Armors, that could make it more fun but it would be too bizarre to modified the system in which that would work. since they would have to put a level to armors; and the game needs equipment that doesn't have levels to give a bit of taste to the difficulty and resourcefulness of the game.

+ the job level is 50 for mechanics, not level 70.

but i don't know if that would work for long. after all, Certificate Upgrade's True value is on Armor Upgrade for having no level equipment. and since weapons are popular they will always come around a way to achieve + 20, so it's not as big of a deal to get it with or without the weapon certificate xd.

 

Bots.... farming equipment to sell zeny and give currency to the game, Vip which makes difficulty of the game easier For loners that have no friends to Also provide economical support to the game. and those who are not loners but still anyways pay for vip support making the gave Mutate too quickly and absurd.

"i'm talking about the ability  of all players in the game, though i can't think of a reason becoming stronger faster is bad if u can do it." if it wasn't because of the fact that   the meaning of "0.01" means        You can achieve successful fun on the game Together as a team =there goes clans called "Guilds" and a Faint sense of Solidarity that came with the fact of knowing, hey this is a game, this is fun, let's be nice to strangers" that is currently Rare to see xD.

 

i also heard of a woe that is only for second job and no for extended job where apparently you can't use mvp equipment or vip rental items. i though that was a Wonderful idea xD. i heard it on 2013. but  i'm back on the game and i haven't heard of it so far for the last 2 months.

 

Thinking about this xD. All of this stepping stones on the way to achieving fun and solidarity. i mean, it's not like i came up with an idea that could fix it all. but i think, that  if Certificate upgrades  Were Taken Off from the game at least for like One single month Every other month. that could help system So much!........   like Runing on a marathon and then you stop to take a Breather and Run again !

 

don't u think so ? i mean yeah, the certificates Are extremely important to make the game stay alive. but  if u could atleast take off  ALL types of certificates that exist on the game for  like 1 month every other 3 months. that could Kick old and new players up a notch and perhaps they would feel that Exiting Hell again into their senses xD.

 

wouldn't that wake them up a little bit ? i think things in the game could become very interesting, if that were to happen.

 

0.01 is hell on earth, it means Achieve the improbable as a team, for achieving just one single action of 0.01  is already something Awesome to celebrate the little things xD. and then feel that huge rewarding censation when u achieve an Epic 0.01
