Volcano:Sometimes, when casting, the floor will glow red in the opposite direction you were facing. So, it appears that the volcano will appear there, however, it does come out the way you you were facing.
Inferno:Sometimes, when toggling the skill off, the casting animation stops, but the skill is still toggled on, consuming mp. Also, sometimes you toggle the skill off, but the you are still casting it, so you must wait until you run out of mp, or the cooldown to stop.

This seems to happen pretty often. The only way to stop it is to activate and deactivate the skill again, which means waiting 10+ seconds for the cooldown, wasting all that MP.

The biggest issue seems to be that the class as a whole deal a disgracefully low amount of damage compared to nearly every other class. Even with all your pets out, and spamming your attacks spells. I honestly don't know how to be more clear than that, just play them and compare for yourself... It makes perfect since to me as to why the shaman himself wouldnt deal a lot of damage, since he has his pets to assist him. But the pets barely seem to deal any as well (which to me is the biggest issue). Perhaps it gets better at way higher levels, but at level 20 they seem to be somewhat horrendous. Really awesome class concept, just needs to have a serious look taken at the balancing.
They get much easier once you level them a bit. I'm level 30 and everything is just a breeze.

Ah alright, just a bumpy start then (which is totally acceptable if it is indeed the case). Are there any particular skills that are essential in having a good summoner (not too get too far off topic here)? They get much easier once you level them a bit. I'm level 30 and everything is just a breeze.

It's hard to describe, but sometimes, it seems that when my small Mist army hits something, the mob will become invulnerable to every other type of damage other than the Mists.
Actually, this doesn't happen because of the Mists... I know how it happens. It's when you use Spike Wave, and mobs spawn over it. They'll take 1 hit, and then they'll become invulnerable, and only your summons can kill it. I've tested it a couple of times to make sure. It might happen with skills that have an attack duration, like Spike Wave, but I don't know yet. I re-rolled my Shaman, and I'm now 25.

It may be hard at lower levels, if you choose the wrong skill build. I've had a lot of problems with my first and second Shamans, because I didn't know exactly where to put my SP. When I re-rolled, everything was MUCH easier.
My skill build at level 20 was:
Lv. 5 Summon Mist - Lv. 2 Summon Mastery - Lv. 3 Dragon Tooth - Lv. 5 Spell Trap - Lv. 1 Stronger Spell - Lv. 1 Ground Piston - Lv. 3 Air Splash - Lv. 5 Spike Wave - Lv. 1 Regain
At level 21 I added Lv. 1 Dire Mist
At level 22 I learned Lv. 1 Inferno
At level 23 I learned Lv. 1 Adv Summon Mastery
At level 24 I learned Lv. 2 Inferno
At level 25 I learned Lv. 2 Adv Summon Mastery
So far, everything is VERY easy, and I managed to solo Farrell with relative ease, when comparing to my other two Shamans.

That isn't the only way it happens. Summons in general will eventually hit them enough and make them invulnerable to you. I have had to cast Spike Wave to kill 1 enemy before due to this.
EDIT:
I'm also getting tired of my Summons Sidebar always covering my Quest Sidebar. Even after I move them they reset after I zone.

1v1 pvp is almost impossible. They dont have a single instant cast skill let alone one that flinches or anything. terribly disadvantaged when it comes to taht.

just a bit to say about pvp with shammys

Using my Mist build, I'm wondering how it'll even be really possible to do pvp since once i reach 7 summon slots, that would mean that it would take just over 7 minutes to summon all of my mists. I really don't think it'll be easy to last long enough to summon 2 or 3.
