What's to stop the locker from dodging the initial twin assist attack and attacking the main twin from the same direction the main is facing? Don't forget that the assist twin isn't invincible and can be interrupted out of their attacks as well so if the twin is free while the main is in the process of being locked, why not include the assist in the lock party.

Nothing. All I am saying is that the Twin has the potential to break locks. If the Main is being hit then the twin is still free. If the Twin is being locked then a Fusion toggle will end the combo. It is possible, albeit difficult, to lock the main and twin in a combo at the same time.

Since you put it that way, sure, the twins have a potential to break locks. I replied because you see it as "kind of insane" when other classes also have something to potentially free themselves or prevent locks as well. Summoners have summons and that mp drain skill. Dragoons have block, Impervion and Revenge while those poor Overlords have lag walk to save them. Traps, tank and evade for the archers. Paper puppets, upgraded Fire emblem, various fire, ice and time attacks and the discouraging high defense for Sorcerers. Crazy Soul, moonwalk, box, and evade for Savages. Evade, block and that ridiculous transform glitch for Ninjas. Perfect Seal(please don't do it) for Invokers and Meteor Earrings for everyone else(you poor, poor Overlords if you're reading this). What else am I missing? Oh, right, teammates Posted Image

I find it through my experience in pvp that since the assist is always so close to the main, hitting the main will also most likely hit the assist as well rather than the assist being free to save her sister when she's being locked.

Perfect Seal doesn't really prevent locks since invokers can still be knocked down/stunned/launched/etc. in the bubble -- and it has a very long CD. Now Emergency Assemble, on the other hand, can prevent those effects, but again... It has a very long CD.

For now, I don't see why you'd even need to be able to lock Twin Fighters, as they seem to have extremely low defense/HP and die in one or two combos, but... Who knows how the scales will shift once someone stacks a fighter with highly enchanted gear.

I originally posted this in the weaving topic because I was in it and I was too lazy to come here

Even though we may have seen the potential of this class I still say it's far too early to worry about changing anything. Granted there are aspects even I don't agree with, it's not exactly fair to want to change a class based on how well a single person can use it.

Addendum -

I think we should wait for more high level fighters to pop up before we gauge how powerful the class really is. It's like having your first destroyer opponent be Sheol. Sure he'll walk on your corpse, but the class is actually really awful. Not so much now, but it's still far off from what the other classes can do.

I think the Twin Fighter Class is BA. There is definitely a learning curve that's steeper than the other classes I've played. You have to differentiate between your twin's skills and your skills, have to assemble them responsibly so there's no gaps in damage, them chain until you have a combo that's impossible to survive. I'm speaking from a PVE perspective because PVP in this game is laggy and unreliable regardless of the class you're playing.
But combining skills into combos, both simultaneously and in sequence means there's no time you're not dealing damage. You can literally use two skills at the same time. Either on one front, or set your twin attacking behind you while you mob in front of you. Timing is only an issue here because you're essentially controlling two characters at the same time.
The only problem I have is that Spin Bomb almost always misses when I use it against a left over monster. When it gets thrown into a mob it always hits multiple monsters, but it constantly misses a monster standing alone.
All in all I love this class and would recommend it to everyone.

This class would be more enjoyable if it wasn't so buggy it kicks you out of the game. I made a compilation video of the past two days of pvp'ing and using these skills and I haven't gone one match without crashing. I wouldn't suggest anyone who wants to pvp to spend money on a Twin Fighter yet since our moves are not fully translated and kicks us out of the pvp arena.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiW1d_wRBy4

It also started kicking me out of f7 occasionally, and it happened in Dragon Velley, too.

I agree! They're not the fastest class to kill with in the mission maps, but it's pretty fun using various attacks to chain skills between the main and assist twin. With the "Ya!" and then the "Hi-Ya!" right after.

For a cooldown decrease, it's one of the few I'd say deserves its SP cost.

A suggestion to make Fighters more balanced in PvP is to have damage taken by either twin lower overall HP. As a consequence they will die twice as fast if both twins are taking damage at the same time but the main idea is that it will deter as much hit-and-run because they will have to look after their twin.

Thank you, hoping this changes are done to twin.

ALMOST FORGOT
THE NUMBER 1 PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN EVER U GET HIT ANY ATTACK THE MAIN TWIN GET STUCK IN THAT SAME PLACE FOR 1 SECOND ENOUGHT TIME TO GET ATTACKED AGAIN FROM ANOTHER ENEMY IN PVP OR MOBS BECAUSE SOMETIME U FIGHTING LOTS OF MOBS AND U CANT DO NOTHING BUT WATCH HOW U GET OWN

Seriously, what is there to guage?! the class has been out for like 4 months already, it doesnt take that long too determine if the class has potential or not. In my opinion from the handfull of lv 70+ twins ive seen, i say the twin class is pretty much on par with every other class. You have been using that biased excuss of unknown potentials of twins for months now, and im begining to believe ur just saying that to overexagerate a class that doesnt need it. There has been enough discusion on every twins skills by legitiment twin players already to determine the potentials of the class. I could bet even 6 months down the round, ur going to use this same excuss with no feasible logic to back it up

I believe Grapefruit's point is that there are too few high leveled twins that are capable. Even if there are several that are 70+, there is a very large gap between "high level" and "skilled high level." Take a player like Necoconeco; she is literally the only actually devastating Fighter in the server. Because there are no others, especially others with different playstyles, you cannot accurately judge potential because someone may do something different with it according to their own skill level. Just because the class has existed for a few months does not mean it has been entirely explored.

So, you quote a post I made back when the twin's damage still wasn't fixed. And I was pretty much saying it wasn't fair to rate the class that early because no one had a high level twin except a few people. I have no idea what you're even trying to say that has any correlation to what you quoted.

I'm not quoting this many spelling errors

#1: Logic likes proper spelling, #2: High level in game means nothing for skill level. At all. #3, the other classes have had at least twice the amount of time that these new classes have. #4, So many different playstyles, very hard to analyze them all. In all essence, the class is still untested #5, don't try to discredit a person's view on pvp when they're WAY better than you at it. Okay? okay c:

1: spelling? Who cares
2: level does matter for testing purposes. At lvl 80, twins skills are maxed, with a signficant cool down. Also....Skills? Skills isn't even needed in this game when armor>skills.
3: the testing time for twin is over. I'm sure everyone is comfy with them already (ppl who pvp a lot). The only problem with twins is their cooldown, and wheel of fortune.
4: play style???? All twins play the same over in iah, even same over here. Their are some exceptions with twins who uses diff skills, such as non stop kicking and dragon upper, but those skills aren't really significant.
5: ok... Really? The only way to see who is better is by pvp! So who ever plays the class with the cheapest skills and best armor. That's what ds pvp is all about right?

***Ill admit though... Commenting on an old post was not necessary...
Edit: playstyle is two words... So play style... Logic loves proper spelling.

1. Its pretty pathetic if u can only insult me on my spelling
2. Level means nothing? Kay try examining a class at lv 20, see how far that gets you
3. Andd??? 4 months is about plenty of time, u expect the class to be analyzed in like a year or somthing?
4. Diff playstyles? are u kidding me? Its like claiming paladins to have diff playstyles
5. At least im better than u :D p.s and i dont use money in order to win in pvp to make up for lack of pro-skills
