Why would you think that was even a possibility? Oh ye of little faith.

I have every confidence, that in a few days time, not only will we have a confession, someone, somewhere in this topic will have named the culprit.
If a few people have named the correct culprit, then all names go into a draw and one will be chosen.

Who drank all the Rum???! As with all allegations. You must state the name of who you believe is the culprit and what was it that raised your suspicions.

@Kitt. Pure genius suspicion LoL...It appears though, that you have missed a few vital clues. Time is of the essence. The culprit could be unmasked today.

1. Observe everything.
2. From what you observe, deduce everything.
3. When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how mad it might seem, must be the truth.

Corvus rather unkindly "murdered" all the rum with his "crow-nies" because Calanor hid all the absinthe! (This suspicion makes a bit more sense with the knowledge that "corvid" pertains to crows and ravens.)

And I totally missed the obvious pirate connection that the rum consumption had to have happened in the crow's nest! (What else would one call Corvus' office?)

CaNehDa because it's so cold in Canada (assuming he is from there) and the only way he can stay warm living on the streets of Toronto is to consume vast amounts of Rum while sleeping on the subway exhaust vents.
