Last night, we added Drakos Tower Item Mall Scrolls for level 45 and level 50. There are 3 different sets for the Normal, Rare, and Hero modes. These can be found under the Consumables Tab in the Travel section. Pricing is as follows:

Drakos Tower
Normal/Rare:

It's nice that the stones are going to be sold by themselves now getting them from the random boxes pretty much made them not worth it

I'm a little concerned about the high price of the Legendary Soulcraft Stone and Artifact Enchant Runestone though as the stones have been reported to not actually add that much to the success chance

From what I've heard they don't add much to the success rate at all and from the few stones I used in the past I'd have to say they didn't seem to help much

The value for the stones has been suggested before, but it's unconfirmed. IMO, it's fine the way it is, b/c they can't give the stones some crazy bonus -- like a 10-20% bonus chance for success -- as this would mean that anyone who was a cash user could easily +20/Legend all of their gear in no time, and you'd have an even bigger gap between the cash and non-cash users.

+15 legend (they didn't put the stone for +16-20 in) and the gap wouldn't actually be any bigger as there is a maximum level for gear to be crafted/enchanted so anyone that buys IM will eventually get to that level while everyone that doesn't can only go as far as artifact +4 (realistically, though they could spend a ton of gold/enchant dust and eventually get +7)

Personally I think right now the stones are priced too high for me to consider buying them (they just don't add enough success rate to argue for buying them over buying more enchant scrolls for more tries perhaps if you could stack their effect by using more than 1 per try they would be worth it while retaining some balance) though I am happy to at least see them being sold rather than a random chance in the boxes as that made them cost more and become even more worthless

The +16-20 stones are in there. The Artifact Enchant stones are for that range -- the description on the 1500-IM point Artifact Rune package is wrong, says "Special" and "+11-+15," when the Artifact stones are actually for +16-20.

As for the gap between players, IMO, it would increase the gap b/c if you give the stones too high a bonus for enchantment/soulcrafting, cash users who would otherwise be content getting their gear to, say, +12-+15 and all Special/Artifact would then have extra incentive to spend more to try to go that extra mile for the +20/Legend (or at least higher than they would without the stones).

Stacking the stones' effect would be a broken, easy-mode way to succeed in enchantment/soulcrafting, *unless* there was a strict limit on how high the effect could stack. But even then, IMO, you couldn't allow stacking of more than maybe 2 at a time without it becoming too easy to succeed.

EDIT: Just keep in mind that the stones are meant to give a bonus chance, not be the new "everyone-uses-them-every-time" item right alongside insurance scrolls.

Honestly I'm conflicted, I think with that kind of price the stones need to have more give. If they can't receive a better success bonus, then they need to be cheaper.

One thing I do agree with you guys on is the price of the Artifact Enchant Runestone package, compared to the value of what you get for it. Since the Legend-grade soulcraft package offers 10 soul stacks (approx. 1-1.5K gold value), I think the amount of powders offered in the enchant package should be boosted considerably to bring it more in line with the soulcraft one in terms of overall value.

On another note, regarding your concerns overall about the value/prices... As an alternative, rather than increase the % chance offered by the runestones or lowering the prices of the packages, what if the packages simply offered more runestones? For instance, 10 stones for the 1500 IM package and 20 stones for the 3000 IM package (double what they offer now)? Would that be considered an acceptable compromise?

Ideally I'd want the stones themselves to have more of a bonus. It's true it would encourage cash users to spend more, but I think it goes both ways; it would also encourage non-cash users to invest as well. I know my friend and I, who otherwise would be heavy cash users (we certainly were on Ragnarok), are not because the base rates for enchanting here are simply just too low.

But to answer your question, it's mainly a matter of getting what you pay for. If the rates of the stones are really as intended, then the only way for me to justify buying them is either having (a lot) more stones or having a (much) cheaper price. There's just no way I'd spend $30 on a pack of stones with bonus rates that low.

If you're gonna boost the rates then change to what the other servers had... if you fail past +15 your item resets to +15

It's going past +18 (i.e +19 and +20) where if it fails it resets to +15 (on IAH anyway)

Gonna disagree with you there. I find his posts to be a summary of the general attitude that has been adopted by many players, but remade in his own style. Does he go too far sometimes? Yes. But if anyone can't handle what he posts, then they shouldn't be on a forum. I'd like to point out that the game is e-10, but the forums have no ratings.
