Gonna disagree with you there. I find his posts to be a summary of the general attitude that has been adopted by many players, but remade in his own style. Does he go too far sometimes? Yes. But if anyone can't handle what he posts, then they shouldn't be on a forum. I'd like to point out that the game is e-10, but the forums have no ratings.

On another note, regarding your concerns overall about the value/prices... As an alternative, rather than increase the % chance offered by the runestones or lowering the prices of the packages, what if the packages simply offered more runestones? For instance, 10 stones for the 1500 IM package and 20 stones for the 3000 IM package (double what they offer now)? Would that be considered an acceptable compromise?

Putting more stones into the package would have the same effect as lowering the cost so yes that would be "acceptable" (in my opinion anyway, doubt it will actually happen)

EDIT: After running Paris 30 times total in the past couple days using floor 50 scrolls, only about 5 secmathian pieces were acquired -- total, by everyone in the four-player parties. Sadface.

EDIT: Regardless of the price this is a step in the right direction. Those Gacha boxes were awful and although they were cheaper you'd rarely get even one REGULAR soulcraft stone, let alone a special or artifact.

Yeah I've been running fl50 and not getting much either at least paris gives off weapons a lot so it's good gold I guess.

I think the prices of runes are fine. Back when they were common in the market, the artifact ones easily sold for 300g+ each, and towards the time they were running out, they sold for up to 500g a piece.

I think rune prices are outrageous. You have to buy tons of them and once you get to level 30, all the credit you earned will be used to buy runes and you won't be able to buy anything else
