some questions:

1) didnt u say, that the maximum cap will be 10.000 points? 5000 seems to be not so high
2) what are valor points?

Lets put down a rumor.

No New Equipment this month!

I would love to know where this started, but certainly there isn't new equipment coming with the Union changes or even new Level 200+ stuff.
The Union Changes (aka PvP) Genesis is working on is being released in stages this is one of the bigger stages that is stetting grounds for the rest of 2011.

I can tell you that we are working on some things for Thursday.

Union Points conversion to Honor Points (PvP Points per say)
Valour Points will be a new system using the current Union Quests (PvE Points per say)
Changes to the spawns on some maps (Mainly Sikuku Ruins, but DoD, Gates of Muris and Wasteland Ruins Path).

• The spawn changes will be to add in Hunter/Ranger types to help with distribution issues of the classes specific drops.
• The spawn changes will also change the Leader/Captain spawns that just re-spawn instantly. We are adding in (Guard -> Warrior -> Warrior -> Leader -> Leader -> Captain) type of progressive spawning to those areas.
• We believe this will help balance the drops, but also increase the Useable Items while decreasing some of the flood of Blue Equipments (This isn't an answer to all of the issues, but a small part of the bigger problems).

Halloween Event is going in as well
PegLeg (Pirate Event) Ancient Coin Turn in will end.

There are some item mall things as well, but I know you don't want to read about them, but you can skim the rest
Adding in Item Mall Weapons, these will be available to Character Level 20 or higher.

• The weapons will progressively grow with the character, every 9 levels the equipment will get an increase in its power and will keep the player progressing through level 100, this is to help new players advance and not impact PvP or upper tier content.
• The weapons will be bound to the character once its pulled from the Purchase Tab.

We have a new outfit for Halloween, and all of the past Halloween Outfits will be available as well.
Hat Box will be removed this week, it didn't make the cut last week it seems.


More details about the update on Thursday will be made available on Thursday.

This is the quote that started it for me: "Union equipment changes will be happening in the coming weeks."

Apparently it was just a poorly worded sentence but these are the cause of most of the confusion by us players. We do not have the knowledge of the inner workings of the Dev team and therefore cannot assume what the meaning is. Union eq changes means just that to us, not..the way the union eq will be sold will be changed....which I would assume now is the actual meaning.

Does that help clear up why we were confused and why many questions needed to be answered before we understood?

Damn when you mentioned honor points I thought it would be like a ranking system based on how well you contributed in these events (proofs does not always mean everything), and I was going to say, every time you use a booster it would lower your honor!

Well at least I can finally be able to get something from this year Halloween seeing that I missed the several LAST ones.

It was said that Honor points will be from PvM, like quests, I think.

Unless it's another rumor, clan war points are supposed to be gone after today's maintenance. If you didn't spend them before, you are out of luck.

I repeat CLAN WAR, not Union War pts as those stay.
