I swear I have talked to every person in Junon and can't start the quest after the Mayor gives you his clue... anyone know who to talk to so I can get the ball rolling???
"As you deliver each message, the next step should be clear." or something like that... am I missing something/someone???
Open your Quest Window and find the Gauntlet of Gratitude quest, then double-click on The Gauntlet of Gratitude (Hint 1) quest item. Follow the hints from there. As you successfully complete each hint, a new one will become available. You'll need to double-click the new Gauntlet of Gratitude hint quest item each time it changes.
FYI, this is the Thanksgiving / Turkey Shooter quest you're referring, not the Anniversary Event that we've just released.

LOL. I just saw the 2 flames, and I am right on the dot. The DEV Team is too predictable and uncreative.I bet, "one has red, and other has blue flame". Other than that, they will have the same design.

I have not seen them yet. Maybe you have a better creative example to offer?
It could be they didn't deem it as important to go all out with their creativity. They are afterall, just flames.
Speaking of flames. Its like when i cook. If im cooking something simple, i just grab the bowl, hoi it all in and slap it all on the plate when its cooked. I dont like to faff about.
Then if im cooking something spectacular, i take my time and make more of an effort to display my culinary delights.
Coffee is still around to tell the tale! Ask him

Straying off topic here, but the correct answer is...that would be Coffee :s
Not wanting to put you off your Cornflakes or anything, but he actually wooed me one evening, after i cooked him Mince and Dumplings with Yorkshire Puddings.
....He ate it all up and then washed the dishes. I have been besotted ever since.

Staying offtopic as well...
That is how it should be... when my wife cooks, I do the clean up... well... most of the time anyways... between my daughter and myself... and when I cook, they do the cleanup... it works out well that way...

Straying off Topic because you just reminded me of a joke about "as it should be"
Angus lay dying in his bed. While suffering the agonies of impending death, he suddenly smelled the aroma of his favourite cheese scones wafting up the stairs. He gathered his remaining strength, and lifted himself from the bed.
Leaning against the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom, and with even greater effort, gripping the railing with both hands, he crawled downstairs. With laboured breath, he leaned against the door frame, gazing into the kitchen.
Were it not for death's agony, he would have thought himself already dead, for there, spread out upon waxed paper on the kitchen table were dozens of his favourite cheese scones. Was it one final act of heroic love from his devoted wife of sixty years, seeing to it that he left this world a happy man?
Mustering one great final effort, he threw himself towards the table, landing on his knees in a rumpled posture. The aged and withered hand trembled on its way to the nearest scone at the edge of the table, when his hand was suddenly smacked with a spatula by his wife "Ger off" she said, "they're for the funeral."
I originally came into this Topic, to just say a simple thanks GMs for the new Event and i erm got side tracked by those two *points*

Valor Quests with Valor Tickets (which we PAY for) give 3-2 points?
ARE U FREAKING KIDDING ME? WTH!
I can do a quest on a noob raider and get 20-25 points, why on earth should those reward 1\10 of that when they take 2 minutes and when I PAY REAL MONEY for it?
Seriously, that's a huge fail.
Agreed, instead of reducing the stones quest to 1/5th of what it was the other quests could have been increased slightly. (Make the others 15/23 or something). No one is gonna trade 5 IM points plus some time for 1 thick iron piece.
Also I take it premium character creation is still not working?

MC stones are still named Ant Devil
- Corrected name calls for the monster Budeater and Tirwin on Luna.
MC summons (Budeater & Tirwin) still don't give any drops
MC summons (Budeater & Tirwin) still don't give any EXP
MC stones are now red

You know what they say - (hint to all you men out there) the biggest afrodesiac to a woman is a man doing the dishes! So you see, it isn't all bad!

There is a bug with the Thanksgiving quest... I have killed hundreds of Grunter Leaders and Captains on two different characters without obtaining the quest item. Please fix this bug .
It is not a bug. Neither the Grunter Leader or Captain are required for the Quest. You want to collect the Grunter Tusk from the regular Grunters around Anima Lake.

You have to admit the picture given as a clue is misleading ;x
Agreed and it wasn't our intention to have that glimpse of the Grunter Leader displayed. We'll be sure to correct and improve upon this Event and the images for the future.
