Ygg is not a wasteland.

There are more then one megs on our server.

WoE dying?-_-, please, WoE is getting more a more fun and populated, because more and more players are catching up to valk and there head start.

Merging Servers = Wont Happen, the loss or revenue is far to great, its also absurdly unnecessary, Ygg is a nice calm server that is not DICTATED by WoE (unlike Valk), it is far more social and fun, pepole (for the most part) donot carry WoE arguments or rivelrys outside of WoE

(i have no idea how many time this has to said before you all get it)

Dropping populations are due to:

A) People starting new jobs, study's or what ever, its the begging of the new year, people have lives.

The GMs doing a fantastic job of banning boters.

why is this even an issue? all anyone ever bitchs about are the GMs doing/not doing there job and how every other server finds other servers.

Honestly reading this post is giving me one heck of a headache.

One of the facts is, RO is an old game. IT still has a good community feel, but a lot of the new generation kids have started look at other mmorpgs out there at the moment. RO needs to either advertise, or change a few things around for them to notice it or what not.

As many have already posted, a merge would probably cause more people to quit. In order to bring in new blood, Gravity needs to advertise! Not just one time, but constant. The only thing that will bring more people to Ymir would be to make it the same as Ygg and Valk and allow free character creation. However, requiring people to be on VIP to create charas is the only thing keeping Ymir from being infested by bots and Gravity knows that they would lose even more Ymir players if that happened.

Imagine if everyone just went to RO2 when iRO got it. And imagine if they listened to feedback to add things from RO1 people wanted. And imagine if it worked. But also imagine if combat was as fast paced as RO1. And it had all the RO1 classes. Yeah, I'd be happy.
