I don't know why you're giving complicated answers. It's most likely that due to the login server being down earlier due to DDoS he tried multiple times to access his account which then hit more than 30 tries in an hour and thus locking his account down.

i can log in my main acct but i cant log in my other account.

I just ran into this problem. I was logging into the account fine (first time after WoE) and I was getting disconnected after I chose Valk for the server. I attempted to log in several more times and then this came up. I play at home where I am the only player of RO. I was nowhere near 30 login attempts either.

I got an odd bug, but I think it should go in this thread.

I was playing normally until I got DC.
When I try to login, I can get to server selection

Login attempt A: "Server still recognizes your last log-in. Please try again in a few minutes. (8)"
If I don't do anything with that on, it becomes "Failed to Connect to Server"
Login attempt B: "Disconnected from Server."

Then I get in a loop of A-B-A-B-A-B-â??
What's happening? I can connect on Yggdrasil, but not on Valk
I'm avoiding too many login attempts to avoid IP bans. (As I've seen in Mods and GMs posts)

same happended to me, lots of A-B-B-A-B-B(as the previoust post states), but I havent readed about this and my account got that message about the 30 people, so just because the loggin failed like that, is my account being treatened like bot?, plus the other accounts that I try to log start sending the"failed to connect" and "still recognize" messages, so is either not try to log or get all your account banned while trying to log hopping that you wont get any of those messages, anyway it´s not playing at all, hope this gets fixed soon

Fix after maintenance? My Lunar New Year quest timer runs out in exactly 59 mins. I don't wanna waste the zeny I used to buy the items required for the quest.

That's why I don't feel safe to get VIP now, even more when it costs a lot for me.
Some hours ago, I bough 233 WPE via mobile phone and it cost me a bit over R$ 6,00.
But either way VIP are having their compensation for the DDOS's one more week. ;P

Idk, maybe the server is back, try loging out(alt+f4) then try it again

A guildie told me Valk was being restarted, now it says 767 people are connected. But nothing changed.
Did you get in?
EDIT: 838 now.
1061 still can't go on. ;(

I have the same issue and i wasnt even log on the specific account during woe then when I logged on the account to go back to selling i suddenly got kicked out while trying to enter eden group. and its accont bound since i can log on my other warp portal accounst just fine it just so happens my main account has this msg everytime i try to log.

The error is supposed to only see if ip address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX has more than Y amount of accounts that logged into it.

The question to those that received this error, how many accounts have you logged in from that location recently (obviously)

How many other locations have logged into your account (this should trigger it but we are testing)

The official proxy services shouldn't be effected by this at all, as they have special arrangements with us. Of course that is another thing to investigate. Please do ticket in with info on how many accounts you log into and how many locations log into you. Maybe it is aggregating both so if you at home log in 6, but 2 other locations login and they have 13 different accounts each

6 + 13 + 13 = over 30 I hope that isn't the case as our office will get blocked alot.

Well I just got locked out of one of my accounts. I couldn't log into one of my characters telling me "disconnected from server" but logging into my other characters were fine. I had attempted multiple log-ins, including having "server still recognizes your last log-in", then it blocked me from attempting further log-ins. Only been logging in at home of course.

Hopefully maintenance will fix this ...

You could try changing your password for the effected account, the account that i was having issues with was accessable a shortwhile after changing the pass.

When I was having a problem, I had just done Dally Quen on all my 4 accounts.
I didn't get the 30 people + same IP thing though, just couldn't connect on Valk.
And on monday, I changed my 3G cellphone connection to an ADSL one. (finally!)
But as I said, restarting machine solved it.
