I'm leaving Pegasus up over night again with the new fixes to see if it catches any other crashes. Feel free to test and again, as always, please post your results and feedback here! :D

News update for today.

After reviewing a lot of the feedback on the Honor equipment, we're going to increase the penalty by 2% for both PVM Offense and Resistance, per equipment piece and see how that goes over today. The difference should be slight, but enough to balance out what we were aiming for and we'll be just about done with testing the mechanics. Beyond this is polishing up the new UI and then moving on to planning the PVM side of things.

Patch v11 has the adjusted PVM penalties applied to the Honor Equipment and is online. Pegasus will be left online until further notice.
Please test and provide your feedback on the PVP Honor Equipment.

Yes this started as soon as patch 11 came out, before that i was logged in

edit: woooo and i also get stuck on the connecting to server screen on the real client.-.-'

It sounds like you're using the wrong client to connect to the wrong server. Perhaps you should try reinstalling and make sure the installation directories are different.
You're the only once I've heard of that has encountered this error since the v11 patch has gone online for Pegasus.

It sounds like you're using the wrong client to connect to the wrong server. Perhaps you should try reinstalling and make sure the installation directories are different.
You're the only once I've heard of that has encountered this error since the v11 patch has gone online for Pegasus.

Rofl, so much chaos. If i had net i would do a thorough test of the beta server, but i dont so i cant lol. Btw good job staff members, does a veteran good to see some new stuff going into the game, keep it up and the community will go back to the way it was a couple years ago when there was real economy. Im.actually excited lol

Hi all just thought I'd get around and finally give out some test data that I'd been collecting on Pegasus. :D

I use my level 202 artisan as the attacker:

With these two chars I was able to collect the following data.

I would admit that this was a pretty down and dirty test, but it did yield some interesting numbers. I will say that I felt like the epic gun was still a better choice overall, the reason being that it yielded a higher accuracy and slightly higher damage. The chiv gun seems to give fairly comparable damage to the epic in this situation, but while I did not test this yet, on paper it will cause an attacker to be able to hit for 10% more damage.

At any rate this is what I've seen so far while testing on Pegasus. It is definitely an interesting change in mechanics, but my guess is that on the live server most people are going to choose epic weapons unless they also give a PVP/PVM percentage. However, at this rate giving them a PVP bonus percentage at all would make them the clear favorite.

On another note, one thing that was slightly annoying to deal with was the fact that the crit graphic is not displaying. I know that it is not a serious problem, but it did make collecting this information much harder. :P

Yes and all i could find were some of the option in this server.
and the commenst like OMG I WAITED for this.

so yes i actually did.

I can login and create a character but i cannot enter the world.

well if you didnt know its a test server to test out the new changes to the Honor gear and the tooltips, sometime this week maybe the Game arena will also be put of to make sure things are working properly.

as for not being able to get on the actual world part im not sure why i just logged in no problems, maybe try check all and so on~

I see well it's also a common problem on the normal ROSE , everyonei n my house has it
we have to try and login for like 20 times before we can play.

I've been testing the difference in the PvM experience between normal and Honor items. My character is a mage.

On the first run, he is wearing Orlean gear (10) and using an Ein Stern (10). I gave him Spirit Boost, Wallop Charm, Precision Charm, Resilience Charm, and Hustle Charm.

Stats:
Attack 3548
Defense 2681
Magic Defense 2986
Accuracy 1063
Critical 144
Dodge 815

His targets for these tests are Drytail Scorpios.

His attacks range from 4100 - 4500 damage and the Drytail Scorpios do 480 - 1062 damage in return. The most common attack was in the 4200 range, and the most common hit was in the 650 range.

When I gear up with Glorious Orlean Gear (10) and use a Glorious Ein Stern (10) using the same self-buffs, the results change rather dramatically.

Stats:
Attack 3673
Defense 3253
Magic Defense 3164
Accuracy 1550
Critical 144
Dodge 1239

His attacks range from 2399 - 2745 damage and the Drytail Scorpios do 691 - 1475 damage in return. The most common attack was in the 2400 range, and the most common hit was in the 900 range. Many hits were over the 1000 point psychological threshold (where they stand out simply because they are one digit more than the other hits).

Just for completeness sake, and to take some variables out of the test, I ran the same gauntlet without buffs at all.

Orlean Gear (10) and using an Ein Stern (10), no buffs

Stats:
Attack 3059
Defense 2196
Magic Defense 2986
Accuracy 861
Critical 144
Dodge 815

His attacks range from 2457 - 2950 (with one hit of 4900 that had to have been a critical) damage and the Drytail Scorpios do 533 - 812 damage in return. The most common attack was in the 2500 range, and the most common hit was in the 750 range.

Glorious Orlean Gear (10) and using a Glorious Ein Stern (10), no buffs

Stats:
Attack 3168
Defense 2673
Magic Defense 3164
Accuracy 1267
Critical 144
Dodge 1239

His attacks range from 1684 - 1839 damage and the Drytail Scorpios do 744 - 1633 damage in return. The most common attack was in the 1700 range, and the most common hit was in the 825 range.

The increased Dodge from the Glorious Set was quite evident -- the Drytail Scorpios missed significantly more during the Glorious test than the basic one, but the incidence of higher point hits increased too, almost as if they were getting Critical Hits more often, though it's difficult to tell any effect on the results from Critical Hits since they don't appear to be showing.

My overall impression is that the penalty from wearing Honor gear is far too high for someone who prefers PvM despite how good Honor gear looks 'on paper' (that is, the raw values as shown in the Character Information screen look much higher while wearing Honor gear and they have what appear to be very nice stats with bolded Accuracy and Dodge on the Glorious Set for example). To someone like me who doesn't enjoy PvP, any notion of enduring Faction Wars to gain enough Honor Points to get Honor Gear just sank like a stone given these results. The penalty from wearing Honor gear for PvM is too high.

It will be interesting to see if the benefit gained from wearing PvM gear falls in line with the penalty from wearing PvP gear in PvM combat. That might be something I would be interested in!
