Tested on Ymir, no VIP and no gum used.

Killed 100 scorpions, got the following drops
57 scorpion tails (57%)
2 Solid Shell (2%)
2 Fine Grit (2%)

DB states that 1x drop is 55% for scorpion tails. Double drops should be 90% if the server caps or 100% if it doesn't. Doubt it is an unlucky streak since I ran a smaller test yesterday and same results.

It's not that they accidentally re-instated the drop penalty, either. Hunted requiems (level 71 monster) for mementos yesterday on a level 71 monk (15% drop) and it took 20-30 requiems before I got the two I needed.

Edit: I'm on Ymir, in case that's relevant. Maybe they only activated double drops on certain servers.

I actually wonder of the double drops are active as well. I havent noticed any siginificant drops at all. I also just killed like 10 shinign plants and i got absolutely nothing all 10 times. I've never been that unlucky even with normal rates.

yeah i noticed it too, grinding at anolians today. often times i do not get any anolian skin from kills, even though the normal drop rate is about 50% and i'm vip. so with double drops i should always or only very very rarely not get a skin.

Try hunting in Dewata dungeon for elunium. They should be dropped by banaspaty at 45% with VIP/2x drops (so almost ever other one) but it actually seems like they are dropping at a lower rate than without double drops. Something is definitely wrong. I'm not that "unlucky" because statistically I should be getting a heck of a lot more eluniums than I actually am getting.

Yep, Don't think the 2xDrops is Stacking. Plus its gotten even worst as far as i'm seeing. Jus Wasting my gums for nothing

Maybe when they edited the server for exp and drop rates, they accidently made drop rates lower lol. Things i used to farm seem even lower now and i've actually been using bubble gum because we are suppoesd to be in double drop.

I can only confirm this, 2x drop doesn't seem to be working for me on Ymir as well.

Same i was at ID3 and there wasnt much dropping at all, ymir dont seem to have any 2x drops.

Are the 2x exp working at least?

Seems like it's 2x base exp and 1.5x job exp. (Banshee gives like 8.8k base exp and 5250 job exp on my level 134 battle AB, non-vip and non manuals)

i don't think its related to servers, since valkyrie is also facing the same issue. Had talked with few of the folks here regarding this, and most of us here are of the same notion.

So yea guess they coded something wrong or our LUCK sucks TOTALLY !!!!

It lookded like drop rate x2 was working on Yggdrasil. Or I was just really lucky >.> (3 cards + Rogues treasure in 30min Biolab2!)

Yeah, I'm definitely getting less than 30% drop (+1.5x VIP) from Dryads dropping Sharp Leaf. That was the hardest level 60 eden equipment quest I ever had to do.
