we're not complaining about rare stuff not dropping, we complain about common stuff not being twice as common as it should be, so this doesn't really have anything to do with bad luck.

Maybe they reactivated the drop penalty system then. Otherwise the numbers just doesn't make sense. The probability of getting the results I did is 0.0000000000000001% if double drops are in.

Oda, you might want to check with IT again on the double drops.

Farming for materials a couple of hours ago confirms that it wasn't implemented on Ymir. I clocked about 60% drops on a 55% drop monster from about 300 kills.

If I'm not mistaken drop rate is capped at 90%, even if it's 60% x 2 = 120%.

Double Drop is definately not in, at least not for "common" items.
Farmed elu's in dewata dungeon for 1 hour and averaged 20% drop (15% + VIP) It should be about 44% drop rate.

There is something odd, there drop rate rules were pretty wierd for the amatsu spotlight (x3 gear x5 card) could it be that common items arent being doubled?

Just did another banaspaty sampling in Dewata for elunium. Out of exactly 100, I got 10 elunium. That isn't just "unlucky", it's below what I should be getting without VIP/2x drops.

Yes Please, Need Confirmation on whether the 2x Drops are in or No. Wasting gums would be a bummer.

It should also be noted that job exp rate is screwed up right now, at least on Ygg server. Job exp is 1.5x normal rates (for VIP), not 2x rates.

yep job exp is not 2x. i tested on a variety of monsters and none of them gave 2x job but they did give 2x base exp. though this is heaven for my homun lvling XD

Lol, I killed two Hatiis this morning with gum. Both times not even a Fang of Hatii dropped. Take in mind that's a 55% drop. Even if it's capped at 90%, it shouldn't NOT drop twice.
