*bankrupt* What sucks even more is i use 1000 hd's to try and +10 it before. So after 1000 hd's and 9 safe to 10 certs i STILL don't have a +10 katar. And Hd's used to cost more =\.

It's 10% chance so 9 attempts in a row is ~60% chance to get it, just a bit of bad luck but still not terrible luck =P

try the carnium and bradium if you want to see what 10% chance looks like (use it on a +10 equip going to +11)

Break gear or most of the time, degrade gear by 3.

Is that a challenge? Because if it is I have already lost I can't even afford 1 Safe To +10 Certificate ^^.

I would have tried surely would fail 20 times first. Thats why don't upgrade .

I once used 15 "safe to 7" certs to get an armor from +6 to +7, and thats with 40% success rate

could quite easily use 30 of these things to get one item to +10, or you could get lucky on your second go. At current market prices though, its probably cheaper to use HD or enriched still. At least the +10's aren't categorised like head/weap/armor

i remember using only 4 enriched elu to get 2 of my items from +7 ->+9.... that's 30% chance working 4 times in a row which is 0.0081% chance. also there was at times trying to get a +7 -> +9 using 300 elus. im sure that's more probable than 0.0081%. i seriously suspect sometimes your character gets their rate locked... so now i just move around, comeback a little while, go out of eden 2nd floor, comeback, log-out, etc if i fail at an almost improbable rate. not sure if its working for me but just makes me feel better

That would be a good thing though seeing as im using it on a weapon which is always cheapest. And now i'm up to 13 failed safe to 10 certs. I'm ready to quit ro now. 1000 Hd ori and 13 safe to 10 certs can't get me to +10 from +9?

Lol, rate lock. Not sure if it's real or a superstition but when I upgrade and I fail to +10 something, I go out of Eden to kill a Poring and then my next upgrade sometimes go success. xD

They should add a 100% chance to +10 from +9 cert for 200 USD. I already used 197.5 USD worth of materials to try and +10 it.

People have like different "superstitions". One of my guildies is like.... "Go away Creza. I'm not upgrading because you're bad luck." He even wears Maya Purple so he can check if I'm cloaking or not to make sure I'm not spying on him.
