Hello, I am having a problem downloading ragnarok online. I am using windows vista. I spent a few hours trying to figure out what could be wrong and I find the lack of threads talking about this issue quite irritating. Heres the problem:

Google Chrome attempt to download RO:
File keeps being interrupted for an unknown reason.

Internet Explorer:
Something about ActiveX

Mozilla Firefox:
Once again ActiveX

I have tried countless times trying to download ragnarok from several different forums and links and none of them seem to work. I even tried restarting my computer and turning off my firewall and updating my java, adobe, divx all that stuff. I tried the link from the wiki and it fails and says something about cannot read logs. If ANYBODY can help me out with this it would be much appreciated. A link to a seperate download or torrent I dont mind.. just anything because this is rather annoying. I will be checking this for the next few days~

Are you downloading from warpportals websight? Also make sure you download the full version. It is a massive file that takes hours to download. I also had this problem of the downloader freezing. There is really nothing you can do but just start it over. Try to be at your computer while it downloads, making sure your screen does not fall asleep. It took be 3 or 4 trys for it to actually work. I hope this thread helps. I'm not into talking about C++ because I might end up giving you a wrong answer. But this guy somewhat solved the problem you are describing.

Please post screen captures that show what you have described.

To post a screen capture:

• Create a screen capture using the Snipping Tool.
• Save the screen capture as a PNG file.
• Upload the file to Imgur.
• Copy the "BB code" (press the "copy" button adjacent to it).
• Paste the copied text into a reply to this thread.

Hi Im Having some issues downloading Ro on to my computer i have tried countlesss times to download it and i keep getting this when its done downloading.
