Gotta remember because Yggdrasil didn't want to give up their server they didn't have an actual server for this.

Nuke Ymir nobody likes that one anyway, take there hardware let them play on this junk.

These people don't even have an alert system for when servers are down... Yesterday it went down for hours till oda ( who was on vacations or w/E) checked forums and then called HQ). It's sad how poorly managed this company is...

Seems like this always happens while I'm vending in front of the Prontera toolshop. I'll be at work by the time it comes back up, too.

I know. If anything it should be valk that goes, I mean the server is 2000/2500 bots outside WoE. Too many people would cry though if any of them closed.

Also it was said YESTURDAY to PM any CM/GM's that log onto the forums about it.

Edit: I'd rather have a glitchy pre-renewal server then no pre-renewal server. I just hope they have a plan for making things run smoother. I am just thinking this first month or so as a Beta stage.

I completely agree. I quit RO 'cause Renewal wasn't for me. This classic server has brought me (and many others it seems) to return, so I too would rather have a slightly glitchy classic server than none at all. \o/

Everyone please calm down. I know it's getting frustrating with this new server. I understand as I am one of you and will be at work and I've got heat and humidity to look forward too. But let's not trash out the people who gave it to us (even in the state that we have it).

I think those who are thinking of this as a Beta test and remembering those days of RO with fondness are having the right attitude towards this. Just think positive happy thoughts people!

By the way, I think the best way would be to just PM Oda or a CM/GM here as well.

Don't they have community managers? If yes then we shouldn't be the ones warning the ADMs about problems the community relate. I agreed that the server is new thou, they really did a great work and i love playing pre-renewal again. Even wish transclasses wouldn't come out, but meh.

mmo companies have alert systems for when this kind of thing happens. At gravity , every once in a while some guy checks the forums to realize servers are down...

So, who is the CM here? 8am PDT now, so I am guessing 1 hr 30mins more till GM notice something is wrong with classic. ~_~
