mmo companies have alert systems for when this kind of thing happens. At gravity , every once in a while some guy checks the forums to realize servers are down...

lol, that's like firefighters checking hospitals every now and then to see if there are burnt victims that might indicate local fires.

I'm willing to be this problem has to do with inadequate server hardware.

They should just merge the renewal servers together and split the hardware 60% renewal and 40% classic.

EDIT: I resent that on behalf of wood product and glue everywhere! I was able to make a single thickness toothpick bridge hold 40 lbs in 6th Grade Science and it was made the night before. ^_^

Server's up now, please make sure that in addition to messaging Gravity staff on the forums (GMs do not check messages as often as CMs do) that you send in ticket reports. Sounds like the earliest ticket about the server down we got was from 7:20 in the morning...

Please make sure to note the exact time (near as you can) in the report so that the IT team knows where to look in their investigation of the problem.
