My two main pvpers are in two clans (all dif jobs). Does that mean according to rule 3 I can only play one and in one clan?

Hmm, teams of 3 seem a bit small to me.
A good Cleric can easily tank 2-3 people, seeing as how each group must consist of a Cleric.
If this is supposed to rectify or emulate the failed COTT Team event from 2010, why not make it the same 5vs5.
Also, better make a very detailed list of things to 'ban' (automatically won't have any effects) from this event - lots of "secret" items and consumables that people will probably use if not clearly specified.

like also wat if a team consist of 2 clerics, isnt that 2 much heals i agree on 5v5.

also 10mins to do a 3v3 might take som time, coz that is not that much dps

3v3 is perfect. If you get into 5v5 it will end up taking too long--not to mention its easier to make teams of three and have them all available on the same day; the more people the crazier it gets. If a team consists of two clerics-- That's their own choice.. Maybe it would be too much heals, but you also have to consider how well is their fighter going to be in taking down three people without someone's help.

I think the answer to that is no. He says that we get to duke it out with skills that we are familar with(indicating that the skills update should be after this tournament).

2clerics +1knight, this team no1 shud die LOL...im srs
pt heal to the max even if1 or both get muted, pots and knight in general is tank. shudnt die in the time the clerics is muted, and if clerics are getting aimed. knight can aoe that make others atk him gettin enemy off clerics long enuf to fully heal up, 2 pt heal is 2 much lol.

When it says each team must consist of 1 cleric... Is that including the 3 person team?I want to see something bigger than 3v3 just for the sake of diversity. There are 8 classes in Rose, and it'd be more fun if one third of entrants didn't consist of one class.

Personally, I think 4v4 would be good.

wasn't the last one suppose to be a 6v6 or 5v5 one of those? I remember we were able to make a full party but then they ended up not going forth with it.

a cleric is required ti participate in the tournament, but its not exactly staten if it can be more than one because reuirement is different from restricted. im confused too
