So, lately I've been thinking about how the economy will turn out after the merge. I'm both Ygg and Valk players, and I noticed the differences in prices for most of items from the two servers. Sometimes the gap is so wide, that one item in Ygg costs several times more in Valk. So, I've been wondering and guessing about future economy. I know that after the merge, items will be overflowing from other servers, so price will go down when supply of item increases (something that my Biology teacher taught some years ago). However, last night my dog told me that since Valkyrie server have the most player (and most bots). The economy will likely tend to be similar or slightly indifferent from those in Valk server. What do you guys think?

It's dependent on the items. Cards and botted items will most likely resemble valk prices. But items that weren't botted goods will probably find a common ground between the server prices.

Can you elaborate on word "Stabilize"? Will it stabilize to Valk server's current inflated economy or Ygg's sound economy? Or I guess, something in between.

Ymir thinks its going to go to Valk prices. Valk thinks its going to go down closer to Ymir... I think prices will go down across the board. We will see.

Supply goes up. But demand also goes up too. So it probably won't seem all that much different.

It'll definitely be different for Ygg/Ymir players. On Ymir, the supply for pretty much anything is virtually zero. I've seen the market for Ygg, and it's pretty bad for consumables.

I think it will benifit all parties involved once it calms.

More players means more deals to be made, thus the market should be more realistic in terms of supply and demand.

it would be nice if ragial deletes all prize histories, like that the average prizes might drop a little.

If the economy will likely to resemble those in Valk. There's a way to get instantly rich as Ygg-Valk players.

1. Sell all stuffs in Valk. Empty your storage asap before merge takes place.
2. Buy all stuffs in Ygg. Spend every single zeny you have in every good cheap stuffs you can see.
3. ????
4. PROFIT

I've been doing this as soon as I heard news about the merge. Now most of my items in Valk have been sold. And my zeny in Ygg has all been spent to buy back the items that I've sold in Valk and other stuffs to be sold in new server at Valk current price. I'm prepared for this merge *evil laugh*

best thing to do is turn your z into items for ygg and ymir players and then resell back but ever since merger was announced ppl started to price everything as valk server.

They should have a Server merge zeny conversion rate :3. Valkyrie Server zeny decreased by 3x. Yggdrasil Zeny increased by 2x. Ymir Zeny increased by 1.25x.

I'd like to be able to say that with only one server to manage, they would be able to finally deal with bots.

Despite its improbability, if it were the case, then we all remember what happened to the market when Valkyrie opened its doors and the old servers lost their free trials.
