St. Patrick's Day Event

I have about 330 Gold coins that cannot be exchanged for Green Ales. I am hoping that this conversion thing happens soon. Also I have about 60 tresure Boxes fropped by snakes that are neither transferrable nor of any use only sold for 12 Z.

What I meant was that nothing happened when I clicked on 2 of the 3 windows. I went back to payon to restart the quest, which is what I read that I was supposed to do. For some reason, though, it didn't work. Any ideas?

What you can do is go to Mysterious Man again. Try it once more. Happened to me on the first day of the quest too. I waited for the update and then again started the quest by talking to Mysterious Man in Payon. Also in case anyone needs Shreds of Evidence, I will give them for free. I have more than 1000 with me. And i am frustrated with them as I dont need them anymore.

I have multiple times, but the guy will never talk to me :/ I've tried de-activating the quest, logging in then out, but nothing seems to work.

the conversion is in.  it's the same guy in payon, but apparently you need to walk over him in order to trigger the alternate dialogue.  just clicking on him results in the new conversion dialogue.

haven't confirmed myself since i don't have the old coins but others have reported this.

I too tried to do this quest today on an alt on my main VIP account and also on an alternate account and neither can get past the 1st window in Einbroch. Neither can reset the quest at the Mysterious Man. The quest is simply broken as far as I can tell. CM's, am I wrong?

Yes i also have the problem not able to finish the house part please fix it.

I am sorry to hear that. But all of my 3 Chars on my account (SinX, LK, MS) all have St. Patrik's Hat on them. And all of them faced that problem. And I took all of them to Payon and just retried the dialog. And it worked. I dont understand one thing though. The Mysterious Man has to have a reply message even if you are in the quest. When he tell you to go investigate in einbroch, if you click on him he says "Back too soon. Did you find O'Riley?"

The Mysterious Man doesn't say anything to me when I head back to Payon (no dialog box comes up), and he doesn't take my second batch of Shred of Evidence.

Quest has completely bugged out on me on.... 8 different characters now.  Fun times.

The quest is still not working. This isn't about the coins, this is about the quest for the hat. The last maintenance didn't fix this quest so when can we expect to see work on this problem? I can't seem to find any other place with more info on this problem than this thread. So I'll keep posting here.

At Step 4 of the iRO Wiki guide (link)

1. The window at ein_fild09 93/239 works.
2. The window at ein_fild09 183/57 does not work.
3. The window at ein_fild09 266/328 does not work.
4. Going back to Payon to reset the quest back to Step 1 also does not work.

I am stuck at the window quest. only one of the windows work and i went back to agent York but I can't talk to him...

Same. I got stuck at the window quest...specifically at the second window. I also went back to Agent York and he wouldn't talk to me...

Talk to Agent York in Payon. Unfortunately youll have to restart the quest but that is the only way to fix it for everyone.

i don't understand, why they make conversion, rather than put the GOLD coin ID on the quest script

GOLD to SILVER conversion occurred because the drop rate of those GOLD coins was higher that even current drop of Silver.

And guys I am sorry to hear that you guys are having problem with the quest. I can offer you a advice. You can still farm for coins and ask one of your friends to get them exchanged for you. If you want I will offer that many Ales against the transfer, no charge. I am here to help. And Hats are being sold at Payon, Morroc and Prontera for about 1 Mil.

just out of curiosity my quest is finished and i have the hat but now the funny thing is, is it only my hat that has no DEF or does this apply to everyone.(it should have 8 def if i am correct)

Hello Everyone,

QUEST is BUGGED - St patricks 2015 quest.

Mysterious man talks 1st time - takes 30 Shred of Evidence.

When i go to Einbroch field - only one window out of 3 houses talks to me .... other 2 windows do not reply

Now Mysterious man aso refuses to talk - i cant reset my quest - none of quest NPCs are responding now

Ohh and Mysterious man refuses to take next set of 30 shreds fo evidences to reset quest

What to do ??

My efforts of 5 hours collecting 350 coins will be wasted

It's still bugged, none of my char can do the quest.

The quest is still fine after the emergency maint, but then bugged again.

Hope they fix it soon.

What the hell is this??? I've give 30 evidence and go to en_fild09 and only 1 window is responding. And when I go to payon and get another 30 evidence and try to talk to Agent York he wont respond. How am I suppose to reset this bug infested quest anyway? Have tried on 2 different char on 2 different account all the same result.

What about the Treasure Boxes dropped from the snakes? what should I do about it?
