Warlock MVP Show - Details Added

Marty, if we manage to meet when we both have time, I'm on. We can even try to record a video. I'll need to reset skills, though, because with an AB I won't need CR and Drain Life, but I'll want both Comet and Tetra Vortex.

Most important things to note: no Mob Scarf combo and no Magician's Glove used. Couldn't find those on Sakray.

BTW, nice detailed explanation, with graphics and stuff... though most people here already know like... all of it. XD They only asked for your gears, it's very nice of you to do all this.

Also, I didn't imply that warlock couldn't solo stuff, just that it's usually not worth soloing some content with a warlock, and ET is one of these. Soloing ET requires not only a lot of patience, but also a ridiculous amount of time and consumables, and you'd want to carry almost all your gears... When I climb it solo I bring 4 or 5 staves, not sure now, 4 robes, 3 shields, 3 shoes, 2 FAWs, HBP, unfrozen set and more, also Foods, Pots, Kafra Cards and some tokens because, you know...  s**t happen, and it's a pain to carry all that on a single cartless char. And I never bothered going past Ifrit as well, because he's already pain to solo without Tetra Vortex, (my warlock is built to solo other less chalenging instances) though doable, but Valk is an even greater pain and so are the highest floors. That's why I said I wanted to see a video. It's not about knowing what to do, it's about the coolness of it being done.

"Only" used a +12, but the combo with a +10 Bio5 Hat with lvl 5 Magic enchant is already very epic even without MDef bypass. :u

These videos are awesome, and of course its always a pleasure to watch your videos pwning the mobs/MVPs with your warlock.

Now I am wondering, how much should a True KK Card cost? I dont think it is worth as much as MVP cards like Fenrir Card, but it can easily be a few billions. Also do you think the price will rise or drop in future?

I wouldn't want to slot it into anything but a SFB and maybe some very specific Vicious Mind Rods/Staffs with high MDef bypass or damage multipliers against *instert whatever*.

How many are there of these weapons? Shouldn't be that many.

Then there also is the question how many and long long people will farm, how many cards will drop etcetcetcyadayadayada.

True. It's very likely that we'll see a chat in Eden like "S>True KK Card A/S 25B" a few weeks (or days) after Biolabs 5  is released.

Tetra is bad. Like... REALLY bad. But it's good for those MVPs that you either kill this way or doesn't kill. It also makes MVPing in general easier, but in most cases it's not useful, and consumes too much points to get. If you go Tetra and Intensification, you drop Drain Life to 2. If you want Tetra, Comet and Intensification, you drop Drain Life to 1 and Crimson Rock to 2, iirc. It takes too long to prepare and the damage leaves to much to desire for the hassle, but at least it's not completely useless.

Tetra Vortex is a powerful skill, but I still dont think its worth getting it. You use Crimson Rock for leveling, and Water Ball(with Lacryma Set) or Soul Expansion for MVP hunting. There's little room for Tetra Vortex, considering the vast number of skill points you are wasting. It would've been a lot more accessible if they flip Crimson Rock and Hell Inferno, so you need Hell Inferno lv.2 and Crimson Rock lv.5 for Tetra Vortex, otherwise its just too much to give up for a useless skill like Hell Inferno.

lol ! i actually picked up lvl 5 hell inferno when i chagned my skill tree to get comet haha

now that i used few comets, here are some questions;

1. how can i increase damage of comet other then raw MATK ? 

2. what property is tetra? it says it does all fire, water, wind and earth..so any of those property damage increase items / cards would boost damage of tetra?

oh and i kinda like hell inferno just becuase it is only shadow property skill that WL can have LOL 

but its damage isn't too great.. at least it will let me put some damage on valk

Actually for Comet, only Hell Inferno lv.3 is needed. I would put the extra skill point to Drain Life or even Freezing Spells instead of wasting them on the useless Hell Inferno. I dont think the capability of damaging Valk alone is enough to justify spending skill points on Hell Inferno, since for most ppls this is a rare use case. But its understandable if you fight Valk on a regular basis.

To answer your questions:

1. Other than raw MATK, you can also try gears that increase Neutral Element Magic Damage. There aint many options at this moment on iRO, but on jRO Comet is a lot more useful given the vast number of gears/cards they have. In future, who knows what will happen in OCP boxes?

2. Tetra takes whatever property of the elemental balls you summon. If you summon all fire elemental balls, then all of the 4 hits are fire element. If you summon different elemental balls, then each hit will have different element(ie. water elemental ball does water damage, wind elemental ball does wind damage).

Tetra is more worth than ever imo now that WB is a thing. Since it's a waste to recast Deluge while Waterball is going off, cast/release a Tetra instead.

let me try to get tetra next time and see how i feel.

the scenario where you'd have the most use out of Comet is when fighting multiple Holy4 monsters, wich are immune to 99% of your spells, wich by itself is already a rare thing. But now that you can cast deluge by yourself with Pororoca shoes, you can use the Deluge 20% buff to hit them and get them frozen, wich makes them Water1 element.

Just wait for shadow staff. A lvl 4 one handed rod that gives +200% hell inferno damage and 50% mdef pierce @+10.

Also, 2 slots for those keyron cards. Pretty good stuff when combined with magicians glove

Is this a jRO item? If so, its not a smart idea to wait for its arrival on iRO, just because we got Magicians Gloves before doesnt mean we will get whatever else that buffs warlocks. 2 slots for True KK Cards sounds nice, but most ppls wont have access to these cards.
 

alrite i might actually drop the hell inferno and comet.. and pick up tetra...

but i love my drain life T^T we need more skill points lol

yeah.. or i should just men the -_- up and start drinking pots like other classes... 

time to bring out skelly cat ...

Or use Vitata Card and lv.1 Heal, pots are needed during emergency though.
