Have you tested with both str and dex individually? Maybe its taking the stat you don't have as its source of damage now?

Both are at 90. With a +9 Glorious Gladius (non-Demi-Human target, but the ATK should still be good enough), Kunai Explosion does like 8k and takes quite awhile to cast, and Kunai Splash is about 2.5k/2.7k, and is pretty spammable (no cast time/short delay. Might be ASPD-based, don't know).

I'd test them individually if I could but there's no reset NPC. I can verify though that STR does like nothing for the skills, though. (I had STR first)

On a 150/50 Oboro that sounds a bit... off.

how much damage are you getting? @_@ I wonder if someone could make (idk if there is!) a forum thread with screenshots of our stats equips and damage from each skill or something @_@;.

Rapid throw consumes zeny but does nothing. I don't know if you implemented the change where it has a chance to fail but even then it would be 20/20 failures which seems off.

I would sincerely appreciate if you could add all of the card NPCs that used to be on Sakray, along with the armor and weapon NPCs. A resetter would also be extremely useful.

@MrTyranitar the dmg is based on atk and str gives more atk then dex so it seems i've tried the dmg for said skills with 99 atk (+2 megs... lol ) then i up'd dex to 99 (and left the megs on) and got the same exact numbers so...dex doesn't seem to add anything to atk the only skill that dex seems to work with is swirling petal

The thing is that for some reason, it's considered a ground based attack, so your cursor has to be right on top of the target. If you're even one cell off, then it doesn't hit. Make sure the name of the target is shown on your cursor before you activate the skill. Not sure if it's supposed to be a ground based skill though.

Yeah I noticed that myself, I checked with both the punching back and froze an enemy before trying to hit it, but nope.

Crash bug are useful for developers but it would help us if we had a little bit of context as part of the report. When you encounter one of these, if there is a "cannot find sprite fekfjsflkfse" or something similar, a screenshot would help. If possible, please put a spoiler tag around the error report and state where and when you encountered the crash.

Another minor bug: as a Kagerou/Oboro the npcs that make items for ninjas(kunais, weapons,etc) doesn't recognize you as a ninja, is this intended?, and also the Kagerou/Oboro armor/weapon enchanter does not accept the ninja scale armor for enchant ,although I had it equipped

Have you been patching as an admin? We should have put in the sprite with one of the restarts yesterday so it should no longer crash out someone with a fully update client...though the skill itself does not work yet.

Glorious Gladius:

Increases physical damage against [Demi-Human] race targets by 75%.
Physical attacks bypass the defense of [Demi-Human] race targets by 25%.
Adds a 2% chance of using [Lex Divina] Lv 1 on the target when doing a physical attack.
+6 upgrade bonus:
[Slaughter] Lv 1: Increases physical damage bonus by (Upgrade - 5) x 5, til an upgrade of +14. - This is the last known formula. Current formula is unknown.
Increases defense bypassing by 5%.
+9 upgrade bonus:
Adds a 25% chance of using [Wide Bleed] Lv 1 when [Sightless Mind] is used.
Obtained with 2000 points from KVM Battlegrounds.

KvM one-handed swords / one-handed daggers nerfed.

@Oda it continued to happen all day yesterday. the only way for me to even play the game apparently is if i start it as admin, cause if i dont then the patcher runs as normal but when i click start the client doesn't open so you have to start the game as admin. and this problem consisted all day yesterday and today people tend to still try and use illusion-shadow (which annoys me after serval times of putting up a chat box saying DONT USE ILLUSION SHADOW...they still use it -_-) n it became difficult to test anything given that everyone is focusing on the same npc.

also i've stated before that the npc's for making kunai's do not recogonize kagerou/oboro as ninja's...any of the older npc's that require you to be a ninja will not recognize kagerou/oboro as a ninja. also i feel it would be better for testing if all currently available gear from the chaos server (things like CEB, robo eyes, backpacks etc etc...) would be available on sakray as well as a npc stat/skill reset and if possible please put some more targets so not everyone focuses on one target and if you can make them demi-human with WoE Reductions that would be greatly appreciated if not just please make them demi human (im just trying to understand my damage with certain gears and stuff sorry if im asking for too much)

Illusion shadow is supposed to summon a "shinobi" clone with the HP according to the skill level, that "shinobi" sprite is missing, doing it crashes everyone. The error msg is almost the same as the one we had at the job change if that helps.

Are you sure? Dex added a "lot" of damage for the two Kunai skills it looked like. (it also added 600 to Throw Kunai, if that matters)

I just feel the skills are awfully weak. Hopefully it's just Sakray being wonky with damage output like it usually is, though.

Oda, I'd also like if possible, for you to post on the forums for what the skills are supposed to do. The descriptions currently are a bit... Engrish-y. I think one of them says it eliminates fixed cast time and reduces variable cast time by 50%?

wish the K/O sprites were dull brown ragged clothes.

skills would be:

"farm rice" --- requires 15x15 cell clear area and rice seeds; can only be used during summer months; cannot be used in lutie, morroc/sograt, other dry areas; gain 10m zeny one month later upon harvest

"fish" --- need fishing rod equipped and near water; high chance to get fresh fish x100

"gather firewood" --- requires axe weapon and near a tree sprite, 10 second irreducible cast time; gain aspd+100% for 1 minute

"set up ramen stand" --- makes player invulnerable to any attack/skill but cannot move and use skills; requires ramen street stall package (available from "the guild")

"eavesdrop" --- can see all types of chat; even other parties', guild's, and private chats/PMs of all players within the screen

"peek" --- no, not that kind of peeking - this shows the targeted players' stats, skill window, max HP/SP, zeny, equipped gear, and inventories; maxing this skill allows you to look through the target's storage

"just kill" --- which just kills the intended target (never fails, can only be used in indoor locations or anywhere during 7:00 pm to 5:00 am PST/server time)

they can deal more damage, but obviously we need a test with equipments and cards as I said before. Malangdo enchants on daggers also come in my mind...

I doubt it'd be much more. The skills shouldn't be that weak. The atk on a +9 Glorious Gladius should be good enough to where with 90 str/dex, a 150 is doing a bit more than 8k damage with a long-cast time AoE and 2.5k with a shorter one.

That error occur when I use Illusion:Shadow (in my case, i was double clicked it). I'll post picture about NPC won't recognize Kage/Obo as Ninja class later
