At +6 it appears to be a 1% chance. I'd love to know the +9 chance tho.
I'll test another 100 and give the results

Don't forget you're absorbing amount is damage*0.01 at +6, not 0.04.
And as temp says, this amount of data worth very little statistically...

Just sold my +9 RWH and use the money to buy kp and finally get my hand over that helm. Performance is nothing better than +9 RWH at +8 for me.The only thing I can console myself with is that the helm totally looks cooler than RWH.

I decided to take the plunge and bought the Vanargand Helm, bought 10 boxes of HD elu, and using a couple extra headgear certs in storage.
BOOOOOOM!!!!
I only ended up using 5 certs and only 2 freaking super lucky HD elu LMAO!!!!

I'll post my findings with 10k arrows later tonite, after dinner and the hou/okc game

killing stapos
avg damage: 700

Round 1:
starting arrows: 10000
starting sp: 0
arrows used: 1138
ending sp: 647(my max sp)

Round 2:
starting arrows:8862
starting sp: 2
arrows used: 1146
ending sp: 647(my max sp)

Round 3:
starting arrows:7716
starting sp: 2
arrows used: 1037
ending sp: 647(my max sp)

Round 4:
starting arrows:6679
starting sp: 2
arrows used: 863
ending sp: 647(my max sp)

Round 5:
starting arrows:5816
starting sp: 2
arrows used: 1062
ending sp: 628

yea thats about it, too bored to go through the rest of my arrows,
so aprox. 5250 arrows used
gained back approx. 3210 SP
on an avg of 27 SP per proc,
which equates to approx 119 total procs
which equates to 2.27% chance per proc.

Im gonna round that down, and consider this helm a 2% proc rate at +9 for SP. So basically double Rideword Hat Sp proc rate.

Thank you for conducing the tests! Since its cuter, Id rather have this than my +9 RWH. I ended up buying the helm, got it to +7, used 100 HD elu and im still at +7...

It's from twRO, the exact source might not be legal. Just a side not, from sp and hp drain perspective, it's EMH>+9 Vanargand>+9Rideword. EMH is not released yet on iRO, but should be soon since it's from the same batch of headgears as Vanargand.

It's actually very a lot more comprehensive than the iro database. But, people usually play using a suite of helper applications, which includes custom grf's that give extra information, such as the actual proc rate, item script, upgrade bonus, advantages/disavantages of each item in the in game item descriptions. You never have to look up any database.
