Fixed an error with FEED-ME-FILES.cmd

I forgot to add some bunny ears ^^'. Humans that have folders with whitespaces in the folder/file names should be okay now~

Thanks to XRay for reporting this ;o

any idea how to record stuff with better quality ? I tried 60 fps and double size but it still turns out crappy
btw after it's done i just play the fraps video on KMPlayer and use the capture function - it makes it easy to pick the part of the vid you want and cut out the part you don't want, and ends up with the same quality as the original fraps video but like 100 MB instead of 1.5 GB

i still have no idea how to make better quality vids tho http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/533.gif

I just noticed I'm using 2.6.0 ... time for a newer version perhaps ... because seriously this thing records in a very small resolution and horrible sound quality even tho I check "Full-Size" etc.

Get the one at the first page if you want ^^. Otherwise you could always buy the latest version, or hoist your colors and sail to the bay of pirates to get something free~

Thanks , but where is the FEED-ME-FILES.cmd?

I couldn't find it in the extracted MPlayer-rtm-svn-31878 folder.

You need 3 files/archives!

1. Fraps
2. mplayer
3. FEED-ME-FILES.cmd

You must have missed the last one, the download link is on the first page :D

so for the FEED-ME-FILES, the content is just:

@echo off
"%~dp0mencoder.exe" "%1" -o "%1.x264-encoded.avi" -ovc x264 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 -vf eq=0:10
pause

I couldn't download the cmd file. So I just make a new notepad file and paste the content inside. Then I change the file type to cmd. Is this able to work as fine?

Yes, it should work!

I think you can right click the link and choose "Save as..." or similar though!

The higher resolution you are playing with - the faster hardrive and processor you need while recording.

Any harddrive usually works fine, except the ones in laptops (5400 rpm ones). They might have trouble keeping up.

XFire is another tool for recording ingame. The difference is that XFire is nicer to the harddrives, but a lil bit more rude to the processor.

That should work! It might be a little laggy while you are recording. You're better of with Fraps though. XFire wouldn't be nice to your computer.

You can always lower the FPS setting in Fraps, the one that is set to 29.97 on my settings on the first page and see how that works out. Try 15.

*waiting for a delicious cookie as a thank you*

I've only seen twinkies in movies! We don't have such things here in scandinavia, so it would be lovely if I could have a few :3

Wouldn't it be simpler to just take the raw .avi file from FRAPS and drop it into Windows Movie Maker?
