Otayyyy, I finally got over my little paranoid thing aboot the MPlayer and tried this, but the batch file thingy comes up as a text and I honestly have no idea what to do with it. I copypasta'd to a notepad document and that didn't seem to do much, so....I guess I'm doing something I don't like to do and am asking for a li'l help. (software ish not mah strong-suit >.<)

edit: the mplayer.exe doesn't open anything but a window that looks like a command prompt window that flashes on and off the screen to fast for me to see what it says... I'm scared... o.o

Oh! You mean the batch file only shows up as text when you click the link? If it does just right-click on it and choose "Save as..." or something like that.

And yeah it flashes because:
1. MPlayer starts
2. Checks for files you dropped to it (you didn't drop anything on it if you doubleclick it)
3. MPlayer exits (nothing to play)

But yeah, try choose "Save as" or "Save link as" or "Download link as" from the link. It's different for every webbrowser

If i add multiple files at one time, will it encode them as one file? Sometimes my videos can go on for awhile. >.>

Edit: Also, videos encoded following the instructions here seem to have a much lower framerate than the ones I drop into WMM. All are recorded at 30 FPS. Any solutions?

Hmm it's possible, but I'm not that knowledgeable yet to make it work flawlessly for windows users.

Method 1:
This is a quick fix though. Right click FEED-ME-FILES.cmd -> Select Edit, then past this code into it and save:
@echo off
"%~dp0mencoder.exe" "%1" "%2" "%3" "%4" "%5" "%6" "%7" "%8" "%9" -o "%1.x264-encoded.avi" -ovc x264 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 -vf eq=0:10
pause
As you probably can figure out, the "%number" is each file you "feed" to the FEED-ME-FILES.cmd. Just because I wrote %1-9 doesn't mean you need 9 files each times, it only means it will take a maximum of 9 files.

Method 2:
It is however possible to just replace all those "%number" with just:
@echo off
"%~dp0mencoder.exe" %* -o "%1.x264-encoded.avi" -ovc x264 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 -vf eq=0:10
pause

But if you do method 2, every file you feed it, needs to NOT contain any spaces in the filename. And as far as I know, Fraps adds spaces, so you would have to rename every file before feeding FEED-ME-FILES.cmd

Anyone a little computer savvy on batch files could probably fix it somehow!

edit: To change the FPS you only have to change it in Fraps to whatever you like. :lol:

24 FPS = Most DVDs, BLU-RAY, XviDs out there...
30 FPS = Maximum amount of pictures a human eye can see

Or something like that!

Yes I know! There seems to be a problem for some people uploading the x264 encoded .avi's. I couldn't get it to work, but some people can.

I made a second type of encoding script, atleast until youtube fixes the x264 encoding.

Add this file in the MPlayer directory, just like the old FEED-ME-FILES.cmd:
http://linode2.kiwil...FILES-MPEG4.cmd

And drag the files to that one instead.

The difference in filesize shouldn't be noticable (same bitrate) - but the quailty isn't as good as x264.
