That is what you call investment. You can't expect poor people to get rich instantly, as of course they don't have the same amount of resource (money) to generate more income. Same goes in real-life business.
Welcome to a world ruled by capitalism my friend. Forcing rich people to be oppressed is already considered communism.
You can't really blame rich people being rich. They worked for their stature that is why they deserve it.
You just need to play your cards right and you'll get there sooner or later.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm also poor.
we play video games to escape the real world, not to simulate them. the entire point of escapism is to have fun. how is being forced into oppression and suffering from poverty fun? Koreans try to incorporate their countries mentallity that you must slave and work hard to do anything, into their video games, and it is the reason that their games never do well overseas. people dont want to have to slave over every single thing they do in a game. its a game. its supposed to be fun. dont get me wrong. i love ragnarok, but there are many aspects of this game that just make me facepalm when i see that theyre trying to make a slave grind out of everything (such as the potion making system)
most rpgs out there dont put so much focus on currency so that all players can enjoy all aspects of the game, while still allowing those that put in the hard work to excell and have an easier time at things (like it should be). im all for rewarding hard work, dedication, and time put in. im not for this retarded classism that this game is suffering from now and the massive gap in pricing that makes it impossible for new players to ever break into the market to buy important items they need, even if they put in hard work, time, and dedication. theyve made it so that only old players can compete in anything anymore unless by some fluke new players get handed free stuff or given a break to go into ET and receive shares of the loot profits. i NEVER had this hard of a time breaking into the market or gearing up when i first started this game 10 years ago. things have changed for the worse, and with gravity limiting items and abusing the KP shop, its only getting worse
i will say however that implementing things like the Mora quests for gear was a great step in the right direction for this game. unfortunately it just wasnt enough, due to the gear only being for a few classes and not all of it even being useful
It just makes no sense to take it away since it was one of the biggest reasons people bought it. Taking that away from an item that costs $ to get...
I paid money for HBP to have the Greed effect. If they take it away from me I'm going to be so done with this game. -___-
you guys are being so overdramatic. youre acting as if the item doesnt give godly buffs (like i said earlier. its a HUGE difference in damage and what seperates the new players from the rich). its already overpowered as hell, and some might even argue that the buffs are neccessary to do high end content. losing greed wouldnt even be noticable. so what, you have to pickup your loot like the rest of the game. big deal. the rest of us have to do it. or as so many people on these forums love to say: 'youre being spoonfed'
they dont sell HBP directly for a reason. its overpowered. if they offered HBP's as a KP item...damn. although it might actually balance things out in this game a little better, so who knows
