Anyone know which VDK contains map image data?

Anyone know which VDK contains map image data?
BGDATA = SKY/SCENERY/GROUND DETAILS/TILES (all of these things are contained in that)
OBJECT VDK's with the name OBJECT in them contain dungeon, objects, models and so on.
I have been testing a Few things to actually have a "night mode" on RO2, it's possible but the textures and sky box have certain limitations, but it depends on the sky box used, and the texture used, Image below.
Nothing's Impossible. That's a known fact.

Sooo, I decided to mess around with the UI recently and I'm going bonkers trying to find this one specific thing. I've checked each and every file at least 5+ times, I've even tried dyeing some of them with a red overlay just to simply see if it's within that file, nothing~
If anyone knows of the location file of the silly chat box, where you type into it (I'll provide a screenie), please lemme know~ *facedesk*
Edit: nevermind~ for the record, it's in files ptn 36 and ptn 35 =p

Any ideas where are the stars of equipment can be stored (the ones which show how many stars your equipment has)?

The stars for gear rating for honing? They're in the file Rag2_Con_001.tga if that's what you're looking for.

Are we allowed to edit the UI Textures in the VDK files listed under the Data folder?
If we are then we can make a less cluttered UI based texture, because I for one do not like the brown everywhere.
We have gotten permission to edit the UI, However they will not give support if we break or mess up the VDK files.
(Mods will not give support if you mess up your client. Reinstall the game if you did not keep a back up.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
VDK files are located in
Normal Installation
C:\<Directory you installed in>\Ragnarok Online 2\Data\
or
Steam Users
C:\<Directory you installed in>\Steam\steamapps\common\Ragnarok Online 2\Data
The VDK is called "UI.VDK"
You can extract the vdk using a VDK unpacker.
!The program you can find on your own, Search google or pm someone.!
Inside the UI.VDK you will find a number of folders and files.
Most UI texture files you will find under UI.vdk\UI\Texture and the names will start with Rag2_<Base/Btn/Con/Damage/Hud/Icon/Option/OutGame>_<Number>.tga
These files can be edited with free art applications such as Gimp, and Paint.net.
Lets see what everyone can come up with!
PS: Make sure you repack as version 1.1 and not version 1.0 otherwise it will not work and not display the hud.
~Texturing Tutorial~
We will be focusing on the menu button
First of all we will open the file Rag2_Hud_001.tga
Down in the bottom right you will see
^Normal ^Hover Click Down^ Inactive^
From here we can assume that these buttons are triggered by mouse events
Now we need to find the bounding boxes by trial and error.
Red is unviewable, Black and inwards is viewable.
So any edits shall be done at black and inwards.
We will add the mouse event names over the menu buttons so that we have a base to work from.
And then we remove the Menu buttons.
Make sure to also check the top left of the image file where the menu button is embeded into the hud, find the bounding box and remove it like so.
The black is the area that matches the black bounding box of our previous edits
And when it all matches up you get
You can change the inside of the bounding box to anything you like!
Hopefully this was informative enough to give a small intro to texture editing.
If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.
Also when you repack you can replace the original UI.VDK as long as you make a backup of said file.
From what I have seen "UI2.VDK" or "UICustom.VDK" Isn't read by the game file system.
do you have the program/compiler that can unpack/repack the UI.VDK? can you give me the link to download it? Thank you in advance.
This again?
i think i can customize the UI, but i can't find a program for .VDK files unpacker/repacker >_< are you guys just using CMD? and any1 post the steps here? thanks really would help gamers for the UI hood of the poring overlaps the screen when played in low resolution. other than that will it's kinda no use at all or just for design for we already have health/mana bars under our namebar . so if they could just delete it or minimize the size of those poring, or otherwise they better make the center UI hood also movable so that player in different resolutions can manage it by there liking and needs.
i think resizing that would just be easy if you know how it works or what programming language was use to it.
and also if you have the program that manipulates it would be more easier.
hopefully they hear this out i'm playing in 1920x1080 so its ok for me but when i tried playing in low reso since it can't be move the chat hood and poring and slot bars are overlaping.
so maybe players in other lower resolution have this problems.
