And? Rogue only has 2, Sin only has 3, and BM has 2. You can argue what is "viable" all you want but when it comes down to it there is a shortage of skills that are actually "worth it". But while those skills are the classes bread and butter for classes sorc is just getting started. Sure damage is a tad below average but then again sorc healing can take over roughly half the parties needs with current set up.
What about adds? Sorc has the most CC out of any class period and that also isn't even their job. Who else can take care of an enemy(stun/root) 6 seconds? The tanks,ranger and magicians. Who can do it to 2 targets in under 20 second? No one and the recast allows for up to 4 times base, 5 times with gear, and 8 times max(buffs pots guardian). And the best most other classes can manage is 2 sets of stuns max.
Sorcerer doesn't have 2 spots in raids and rampage around colo because "that is just the class" its because the class as a whole is imbalanced and op. Every class needs a decent boost to their roles skills in pve and options to deal with the cc in colo.
