Not sure what I think about the new training grounds.

 

I made an alt to test it out and maybe it's just because I'm not new-new, eventually I just kinda wanted to leave (and did.).  Most of the first floor "general information" quests and such were cute and fun and informative as well as easy to access.

 

Going to the second floor it seemed like I got a gazillion really boring thief class related quests and was force-fed a bunch of information about thief classes while the other classes were just like whatever.  The various class instructors all have nice portraits and are full of personality, but it felt like I was being pushed to just talk about thieves all day.  Which is probably nice if you're new and only interested in thief classes, but otherwise it just

They're extremely easy to get so if anyone wants to buy it for whatever reason, for the love of god don't pay much for it.

 

ETA: unless you want to buy it from me of course.

Ooh I see. Whats the Criatura Academy Hat? Is it a new hat that comes with the new novice trainings?

Since that's the name of the new training area I would assume so, but I haven't figured out exactly how you get it.  Maybe it's at the end of that string of boring thief quests.

Architect is no joke, you can earn alot of $ being an architect, just don't say you don't even've a degree or failed a degree/ won't've a degree in the future, cause that's what I expect, if Oda has an architect degree, he is very over qualified for this job that any idiot can do. And I bet you can't do a better job than him.

Actually no, you can do this quest at any level. They eat apple juice just like a regular poring. Yes you have to actually tame them, which is like 100% success rate so no worries getting one. Tame is unripe apple but a bigger shiny one for them

 

I must say though as a noob this new system is SUPER confusing. There is no start or end everythings just scattered. @_@

Anyone else noticing new graphics & video problems when battling monsters? I've reinstalled my video driver & that didn't help. It's not the same video problem as before. It's like shooting lines across the screen,B & some things disappear when this happens, like the chat screen.

Ya I've been having that problem it only lasts about 3-4 seconds and only when autocasting.  I updated my video card drivers before the problems started happening so I thought that was the problem.
