x3 bms are way more expensive than vip buddy, do some math and stop trying to give advice when you have no idea what you are talking about

I'm guessing you're missing that I'm talking a hypothetical situation in which I'm breaking down reasonable estimates to do the quests. It probably went over your head, but I guess thats what nitpicking does.

 

Nonetheless the hypothetical situation I broke down that doing all 4 seals on 3 chars would take 4.5 hours in a week and thats being very generous. 

 

The whole point, again, was to show that the quests themselves are not that bad. It was an illustration (a generous one at that) that doing all 4 quests isnt as big of a time sink as people are making it out to be.

if you 3x bm every char, its smarter and cheaper to just get vip and use the free 3x + dungeon tele

Since somebody mentioned the god pieces drop rate earlier, frankly it's too late. I brought up the rate of god pieces dropping almost a year ago and suggested that it not work with gum and server increases. It's too late now, pieces have flooded the server.

Yes, that's my biggest concern....

 

God items should have a cooldown on creations too.... The quest is the only bottleneck

Yup, I remember you mentioning it a while ago which is where the idea came from.

 

Magic stone reset seal quest status would be cool. (renewal already has that as well)

put seals into kafra items, problem solved! no more excuse like ppl have jobs!

The hell is this crap?

 

An average guild has 15 people, you say? I alone have ~30 seal-level characters. Let's even lower that a bit to make up for new / lazy people, and you should STILL have enough characters for THREE FULL SEAL ROLLS. Two rolls, if you REALLY want to lower the number to 15 characters per person!

 

You don't have time to do the quests? The same exact people and guilds WANTED this new seal-stone-quest-kill-count thing when WE were the ones against it. Before, you had a chance of profiting off of our work and now you have next to zero chance unless you get off your butt and work.

 

We have made... What, ten items with this system and the last? It's not that friggen hard.

 

Here's how easy it is, guys: instead of participating in the first useless hour and a half of WoE, have all of your guild members do the seal quests on a few characters. Boom, God Item made in three hours on one weekend.

 

Also, on the mod side, enough with the personal attacks.

I never contributed in asking for this system and for the most part neither did Valk. I don't have an issue with the system as is, I'm just saying that the rates that pieces drop are ridiculous and making one god item for the population we have now is an issue that we need to address. I don't care at all about who this benefits, but I would like to see change on the server as a whole. I get the feeling that most opinions on here are biased about what kind of hard work they've put in thus far, all I care about is the progression of this server. I don't care to make one or two specific guilds to be happy with an outcome, I would like to see an overall census of what people think about the god item creation process as is right now and what we can do change it. 

I don't care about arguments about things that we can't change that have already happened, I would just like to see more suggestions about what we can do as of right now.

The only reason this is even an issue is because VH stopped rolling the seals for now... I'm about to finish another 2 sets, so maybe I'll start again soon. And your stupid guildleader can ninja off my roll because the system is flawed as eff with no penalty applied for failure..... Or not since he'll have to have a party online when the seals roll. 100, 50, it won't matter for you people.
 
The only reason you want the numbers lowered is so that other people push them for you faster.
 
Lowering the numbers will not help you.

There are posts of Tolrin saying -_- like "yeah its good". Most of the "it's good" feedback was based on the fact that other people will do the seals for the guilds who feel they have earned their item already. This system has been in for 6 months and people who promised feedback still have not put in their feedback. There was a window of time where the seals rolled very fast (I made 6 items in 6 weeks) - If you did not take advantage of that at the time, that is your own fault. Don't play for the future, play for now.

 

Some sage advice from Dokey that I feel is relevant.
 

 

 If your dudes aren't contributing, maybe you should look into delegating duties. There are always going to be people who are capable of putting in more time than others, but if you break up the work so it's more even... maybe it won't seem so daunting. That sounds more like a problem with your guild and your leadership than with the server.

We handle dividing up the work pretty well. Sadly, we can never get enough people online at once outside of WoE =/

 

I've also never been available for the kill count portion of the quest (I work pretty bizarre hours), so I'm STILL unable to make any kind of comment on it. Even after all this time :< As for the tokens, I still like the idea of them and that they are vendable!

That's why you guys schedule the opening of the seals :P

 

You don't have to believe me, but it only takes 4~5 people to do the killcount and god items have no impact on it.
