I'm so happy you recognize the unique beauty ROSE has behind being able to create a character build unique to your enjoyment.
If we were to force roles, it certainly would take away the freedom of character creation, something we hold dear and valuable to the uniqueness ROSE has, from the player.
Spreading out support potential is going to happen, because as a point of balance, having a single class provide the majority of support is actually an issue. Same as the Artisan being the only class that can craft, it is an old design facet, because ROSE has a number of years under her. Some of those notions may have been enjoyed and still are by some, but on the whole, isn't good for overall design. I know there's a knot of nostalgia when we start tinkering with some of the older designs, but we have to face a hard decision of whether to keep things how they're going or try to improve them based on trends and what we could do with it creatively. We want to always help ROSE expand to bigger and brighter skies and we'll hold on to as much as we can from what makes ROSE, ROSE.
When it comes to the economy, no one thing is going to fix it at this point. We are working on several key things that will begin to shape the economy in the future, to where we hope it provides a means to restore a better balance for players, premium, paying or not.
