Is the majority of the updates Cash Shop related? What about the stuff that really needs fixing, like the disassembly failure rates, insane threat generation for healing classes, Knight's overall uselessness, map loading slowness, sp recovery rate of sp potions of < lv 50, dungeon invisibility bug, Shadow Explosion bug, Battle Leap bug etc etc...? These issues outweigh the necessity of these cash shop updates and it seems you're more interested in making money off us than fixing bugs.

how old are you, 12? that's exactly what's being happening since the release of the game.
what we need to do, as a ´´community´´, is to stop playing this piece of -_- right now so $gravity$ can start caring about the actual
gameplay of the game and the players, who are the heart of this game.

As of my observation, server population is dropping again close to the "early-mid January storm". I thought this patch would make players come back. It's ironic to see the devs pull out another PVP feature when almost everyone is BEGGING for class balancing. FAIL

Maybe stop buying Kafra Points altogether might have more effect. Hit em in the wallet and they'll listen. Or at least I hope so. There's plenty of devs and GMs that refuse to listen and continue to walk down the path of self-destruction and that's not what I want to happen to RO2.

It took post-AoV to fix the female Aura Strike problem that began since server opening. All the fix involved was to replace a single .kf file with an older copy. Anyone with a VDK un/packer can do that..
It's really hard to justify playing RO2 at the moment.
New upgrade system and WoE 1.5? Really now-

Well, at least it's a fix? I think it shows the best way to get attention is making a video and reposting until fixed.. heh. Easier than trying to rely on translation of the issue.

DUN WORRY, next patch (march 4) will make or break ro2
hey wasnt it dec 18 that ppl started saying that? LOL
Well, after breaking the game so many time, I think people already realize that for RO2, fixing a bug, balance a class are rather an achievement than a responsibility!!!

Not exactly a wise move to release patch notes early. There should be more to come since they don't have the full build from the devs yet (just the test build for the new content) but if it turns out just to be a simple no fix patch....not going to end well I should say.
Altho sometimes there is not much change in the end but after patch, it makes sense, since Devs can't tell whats fixed until its fixed...
and they might as well not anounce all thats fixed until they end fixing stuff, and fixing stuffs ends by the 2/19, which is not today but in 5 days... at least for me...
Well, if you ever worked in a usual IT company, you know that the development process is a completely different one.
Usually, software development is organized by a ticket system [f.e. JIRA] and a version control system [GIT or SVN]. In case of a larger project, there are surely a complete set of rules, milestones, test procedures, etc.
However, in all cases, you define the 'whole package' meaning the bugs & features that will be fixed/implemented before you start the work. It's the usual way to schedule the tasks and calculate the costs, the period to maturity, etc. A 'patch' is nothing more but a release for a set of those 'tickets', bgfixes or features.
That's what I would expect from Gravity / WarpPortal to do. But IF they would do so, you could print the patch notes right BEFORE they start to implement it.
There might be delays due to unforseen problems or just due to a miscalculation, but that's not a tragedy. Then, they could mark those specific point as 'skipped' or 'delayed'. But there is absolutely no reason that this would prevent them from printing the patch notes right at the beginning.
Testing the changes is also a normal iteration step in developing software and there are several test steps/phases. What WarpPortal does is neither the first step nor the only testing phase.
However, if you analyze the current situation, you might come to another conclusion: WarpPortal has no control over the development team.
Well, they might be able to start tickets, but it seems that this doesn't put a severe pressure on the development team... it's more like a plea. So this is the reason why they can't give any informations of the current implementation progress and that's why we get 'unforseen new features' as well (like the honing system). This might quite easily be a cultural issue as well.
That's why I wouldn't expect a certain bug to be fixed. I simply assume that there are no priority levels defined, no completion dates set and no responsibility chains involved.

please! bug fix before anymore p2w sh**... seriously... also make the cacaos/chocolate gathering just like that of a normal mining/gathering speed... its already bad that you so obviously made it a p2w event... make the reason for ambush quest items actually drop like the f**king quest item it is... balance all DoT skills I mean seriously?! being spammed by cres' DoT's hurts like hell and my sin is only doing like, what, 156DoT?! assassins only got that 1 effin' dps and you messed them up...
stop releasing new kafra shop items! every month you release another costume/sets, I mean really, you cant see the drop in the population and the in-game economy... mafias are now in control of everything... from runes to runehole punchers, osiris mats to chocolate cakes, name it and they can control the prices on it... as a person who has a job I cant play all day even if I want to and even if I want to get the chocolatier title I cant farm all 100pcs of chocolate cake seriously change those exchange rates... have I already stressed enough about how p2w your events are? YES! IT'S BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL P2W!!! NO ONE WANTS A P2W EVENT!!! NO ONE WANTS A BROKEN GAME!!! WE WANT FIXES!!!
