Tried to do it. And It shows this message

 

"Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted.

 

Error 5: Access is denied."

 

What seems to be the problem?

Wait. Already fixed it. Thanks! Turns out the error I get is because of the Permissions on my Temp Folder. = v =

Yes I know, this aren't unique downloads... But still enough to be happy I think.

Hi, ich hab hier so ein kleines Problem, immer in unregelmäßigen abständen kommt immer so eine Fehlermeldung das die Zeitbeschränkung für den Vorgang erreicht wurde...

 

weißt du wie ich das beheben kann?

Wenn das passiert hast du ein Problem mit der Verbindung zum Warpportal Server.

Das haben einige und andere wieder nicht.

 

Was ich dir da als Lösung nur Anbieten kann ist, dass ich dir Links auf eine Dateien für eine schon fertig installierte Version gebe.

Das sind 15 Dateien, die du dann selbst mit WinRAR oder 7-Zip entpacken musst.

Danach kannst du dann aber sofort die "Patcher.exe" starten und dann läuft das.

 

Die Dateien liegen allerdings auf Mediafire.

 

Wenn du die haben möchtest bekommst du von mir eine PM, da ich diese Dateien nur bei solchen Problemfällen weitergebe.

Normalerweise ist der Installer dem vorzuziehen aber bei deinem Problem sehe ich keine Lösung.

 

Manchmal passiert das wenn man WLAN benutzt. Aber ich kann dir ja schlecht sagen, schließ' ein Kabel an

Is it normal that the download of the installer is loading only with 50 KB/s ???

No that is not normal. For me it loads with 1,2 MB/sek.

But some connections from Europe to the WarpPortal download server seems not to be very good.

Then the media.cab file is corrupted while downloading. You haven't done anything wrong.

This can be caused by bad internet connection or a bad connection from your location to the WarpPortal download servers.

 

Sadly this happens a lot with some ISPs recently.

 

Please download the following file which has been uploaded and posted by yurioj75 in the first post:

http://www.mediafire...jnjr5/media.cab

 

Download it to the folder where the other .cab files are in (this is the folder which location you selected before the installer begun downloading).

Overwrite the old one with it. Then run the .msi file and the installation should be fine.

 

Let me know, if it works or not.

Sorry, but I and many other people have no problem with the media.cab files.

Some have, most have not. And it is really working, just not for you and a handful of others.

 

I'm maintaining this in my spare time for the community and it's not my duty.

 

I'm going to upload the files again on mediafire, but this takes a while.

If you can be patient, good for you. If not...

 

For all others who have the problem with the media.cab file:

As I stated above, the uploading is running at the moment.

It will be available in about 5 hrs.

Ne läuft einwandfrei nachdem ich des über nen andern PC probiert habe.

Patcher öffnet sich ohne Fehlermeldung. Start und GO!
Nur doof das mein Char jetzt verschwunden ist seit dem Update :D

ich nehme an du hast bereits von dem Problem mit dem Char gehört und was in diesem Fall zu tun ist.
