After getting some questions about where my installer is, I decided to re-link it in the first post.

 

But, just because I'm not in a good "DragonSaga Mood" at the moment, I won't be as vocal as before for the time being.

We'll see if there will be the dawn following after the dark night or if we get a permanent eclipse of the sun.

I think the one who should understand this, will know what I mean.

I'm proud to celebrate over 1000 Downloads of my fixed Installer.
And I was able to hire Paris to celebrate with me. But she wasn't happy.

She was in a bad mood like always. She was so angry, she made a sign!

I'm a little hesitant to download this version of Dragon Saga. Chrome blocked it, for "malicious reasons" or that the website might've been hacked.

The installer itself and the site (which is MediaFire btw) works 100% virus free.

I just checked that by opening the fixed installer link from this thread here in my personal Chrome browser. Just 5 minutes ago. I refreshed the page 10 times without Chrome having any sort of problem with the site itself/ the file.

As you can see (my very own  screenshot is showing that)  it works perfectly fine. Without any warnings of anything "malicious".

 

This installer has been downloaded over 1000 times already, without one! person complaining about anything virus like.

 

 

 

Yuri wants me to let you know:

 

Please check your own system. Maybe you have installed a suspicious addon into your Chrome browser. Which re-directs you to malicious sites and/or addware. 

There is no virus on the installer site and no virus in the installer itself.

I just checked the site again by using my personal Opera browser. Still without getting anything "malicious".

It is working like it should, perfectly fine and 100% virus free.

The website this is hosted is a well-respected cloud service. And my installer is also 100% virus and malware free.

 

Just to proof that this is the truth, here are the latest VirusTotal scans:

 

For the hosting site (Mediafire):

As you can see, ONE AntiVirus' (TrendMicro House-Call) find this suspicious by it's heuristic scan.

It's 1 of 54 Antivirus Solutions the file has been scanned by VirusTotal, so you can just treat it as a so-called "false positive".

 

If your chrome browser says that MediaFire.com is suspicious, you should have a look at your own pc.

Maybe your own PC has an adware, spyware or other malware installed or something has silently installed a suspicous add-on to your chrome browser.

 

I never had any intentions to install anyone over the world any malware, spyware, virus or adware.

It's the opposite, if I would get a programmer of such crap in my hands I really would love to kill him.

 

The installer now has 1277 downloads without any complaints about it could be a harmful site or software.

 

I've one urgent request to all who have such problems or are afraid because they have similar problems: 

Please contact me by PM first, because such a thread could scare the others and could prevent them from downloading this installer.

ich hab versucht durch deinen link dragon saga zu downloaden aber immer wenn ich das versuche es herunterzuladen kommt eine meldung wo drauf steht :

 

Download failed : Das Zeitlimit für den Vorgang wurde erreicht.

 

Und das passiert immer nach 13-40 sekunden..

Ive got a little probleme whit the dragon saga patcher it don't whant to start it tel me : The systeme file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microseft Windows application. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. 

 

Im living in France 

 

Im on Windows Vista

You don't have to apologize for your english. It's good enough that I can understand your problem. 

 

I already heard about this patcher.exe problem. 

It seems, like this media6.cab problem, sometimes the download is corrupted.

 

Download the working patcher.exe from this link (I just have uploaded it for you):

and replace the old with this one, this should work.

 

I did this for another player some weeks before.

Don't worry, there are no viruses or something like that.

This is just the original patcher.exe

With xml.dat it's possible (i have it)

Game is english, but at the moment (no client updates since the EU closing) your french xml will work. 

Only problem: the name of the items in the open market and in the cash item mall stay english.

 

So if you for example search a soul you can't search for "âme", but you have to search for the english word "soul".

That's the only restriction. All texts and items in the game will be french after copying the french xml.dat file.

i have a problem, i try download dragonsaga with mirror client
i finished and installed, but when run, it require me update, my version in client is 0.2.59, i think to far from new version right? what version new to now - 0.2.98 right? If not, anyway to help me update to new version, link download of patch ??

First I think you posted in the wrong topic.

This is a topic especially for my fixed installer.

 

Second, I don't really understand you.

If you start the "Patcher.exe" in the folder where you installed DragonSaga it should patch automatically to the current version.

 

There are no "stand-alone" patch files available for download.

Today i tried to download from your link, finished and i run game, but DS Ver is 0.2.59, why you don't update to new full verson in your installer ?

First, when you run the "Patcher.exe" the game updates automatically to the current version.

Second, I don't update "my" installer because it downloads the game from the original WarpPortal server and runs a fixed original installer.

Since WarpPortal has no new full download version on their servers, there is no possiblity to update my installer.

 

You have only one option to update the game to the current version: run the "Patcher.exe" and let it update.

Dude. Is there any installer that will use the already downloaded parts? I already have the media.cab files and I don't want to redownload again because of my country's crappy internet. I have a problem using the installer I downloaded from the site. It shows this message.

 

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personell or package vendor."

 

I have Windows 8.1 64-bit OS. And I already have updated Windows Installer and I already disabled the Anti-virus when installing. I also changed the permission on my Temp Folder. PLEASE HELP ME. I wanna play this game so badly. Thanks for answering~ <3

Yuri wants me to tell you the following:

 

Download the following file to the folder where your media.cab files are already in. No worries, it's just one small file.

In the case the file is already there (or seems to be) simply override it with the new one.

After downloading the file just start it by double click and let it run. 

The game will be installed without error and without further download.

 

(This method only works if none! of your previously downloaded media.cab files is corrupted or missing - there should be 7 different media.cab files)

 

If you still got problems, please let us know. Yuri will try to help you out later today.
