anyone got a witch shoes already? 
Edit: did anyone complete the quest after the maintenance? somehow the packleader doesn't tell me to enter the portal even after talking to 3 leaders (1 is still bugged). I completed the quest successfully last week 
, now trying on other chars.
Edit2: after talking to wraith 2nd time, it finally teleports me. its fine now i guess hahah

Duh ya I did. Obviously you didn't or you would have seen my previous replies 
That's how I did the quest in the 1st place
& yeah it's been edited quite a few times
It still mentions bugs even though they were fixed & it says the reward choice wasn't changed till this maintenance...LOL
P.S. The edit was done just a few hours before my post. I don't read the OP, of threads, every few hours. Do you?

I really want to know if the shoes are worth getting!! or just a kind of "for fun" gear @ -@
since the npc doesn't let me repeat the quest I don't want to get the 5 squids and spend them in a useless piece of equip

Almost 6 hours of difference lol.
I do read them, specially when the tittle says "Updated (the current date)".

I don't have the incentive to run through the number guessing game 5 times, with 5 different chars on the same account for an unknown prizes. Might just wait tell someone posted the stats to see if its worth it or not.

Good news, server was patched last night and the step to make the quest repeatable works now, Speak to Dreadful Druid in Glast heim to start the quest again.

I don't have the incentive to run through the number guessing game 5 times, with 5 different chars on the same account for an unknown prizes. Might just wait tell someone posted the stats to see if its worth it or not.
you know there's a calculator on choobs that does the guessing game for you right?
people have mentioned it before in the thread as well.

Who needs a calculator? I currently did the quest 2 times (about to do it again) and have spent at most 3 minutes on it. People make things so much harder on themselves when they don't need to. lol

Those penalties, but I still like the class. Often surprised/hyped when I can equip new armor (like the set from fishing one).

to repeat the quest go talk to Dreadful Druid in GH... he tells you to gather 25 skel bones, 25 medicine bowls, and 5 holy waters. take these items to Packleader in Nif... then you enter the portal and follow the last steps of the quest again to get another giant squid...

Is there a cooldown? I did the quest a few hours ago and got a squid. I just now did the quest, got all way into the special map, sprinkled sand on the cracks, stabbed the Unholy ghost. But when I clicked on the packleader, he said "Waow now! I think your being a little eager! Let's wait a little while before we hand out tasty tasty squid again." O_o

Yeah, there is an 8 hour cooldown, it check it the step before turning in for the reward, so you can do the quest, but won't be able to turn it in til the timer is up.Is there a cooldown?
