Cant Connect To Patch Server

I tried to delete "patches" folder but not work.

 

And i don't know where I get manual patches

Download RTP's from http://patch.playrag...ch/00000195.RTP by changing last two-three numbers which you need and copy to Patches folder

We re-uploaded that particular file recently and are making changes to help the patching process today.

 

It should help alleviate some issues players are experiencing with the big patch.

After downloead 00000170.RTP  i put in folder ro2 instaled, but it show me "failed file does not exist"

and other say 00000195.RTP  or 00000196.RTP so 

what really need?

try this option

 

go to your ro2 folder then open the version.dat file with notepad then change the last 3 digits with 197, both lines, then save then try to run it again

I just reinstalled RO2 fresh, and I'm getting this error.

even if that would work, you would be running an older unpatched client. not good.

 

Anyway, my problem was I reinstalled from a very old install backup which installed client patch 43. It seems they must have recently deleted some old patch client updates or something.

 

I redownloaded the entire installer, which now installs client patch 137. The above mentioned Failed update patch doesn't happen anymore. I can now start the patch client and download patches. Everything was going fine until patch 145.

When it tries to download and bind patch 145 I now get this error.

I tried to manually download the failing patch but its the same crc32 of the file downloaded through the client :\ It seems that patch file is broken.

I only have the error on 195 when I re-patch.

Then I download the patch from the link above and placed it on the patch folder.

I noticed that it has only 126, 194 and 195 (from the manual download) on the folder.

 

What are the other patches that should be on the folder? (because the "Designated Module for Hackshield when create HSB file not matched. (Code = e904000e)" is still occuring)

another question how do you bind the rtp files in the game after putting it in the patches folder? Because I've done this manual patch and still doesn't work.. and the games wont play properly ( cant see pub,trade and party chat; cant change channel and change character)

this method is just temporary solving, after people will have more corrupted client and always get hackshield kicks and have missing textures\items\icons\etc. because you just skip some patches ._.

I think this is because of the language patch??? Because when I switch to Chinese at launcher, it restarted and start to download updates and "Can not connect to Patch Server" window came out...and now cannot start the launcher.... :sob: :sob: :sob:

 

I then went to RO2 folder and open "RO2_option" and change "LANGUAGE=886" under [NATION CODE] to "LANGUAGE=1", the launcher start just fine after that...

 

So maybe the error is not because of the updates, maybe because of the language patch...I guess...correct me if I'm wrong...

 

But, HSHIELD error still happening... :p_cry:

    The same thing happened to me, too. Before anything, after the maintenance, it was updating and patching normally, the hackshield error didn't occur at the time.

Then, I picked the new feature, Chinese language, as I was curious of what changes it might do. Restarted the game, it then downloaded updates normally. But, it stopped downloading updates as "Can not connect to Patch Server" appeared, hence the progress halted not even got into the launcher and updated the patches.

 

    Tried several times, the same error still happened. As it happened after I changed language option, so I guessed it was the cause. After changing the RO2 language option, the LANGUAGE=886, the game ran normally through updates download and patches, eventually got the launcher started and successfully went in-game. Logged in and got in-game properly just fine. But, the HShield error didn't happen at the time, nor it happened in recent times. It might have been solved already. :p_idea:

it's been 3 days i been downloading installing and patching ro2 since the new patch and i have a problem with http://patch.playrag...ch/00000103.RTP i am putting it to patches folder but still not working i miss playing ragnarok 2 and i bought aeria points just to buy kafra points please help.

I'm from Brazil and I had same problem when I downloaded portuguese language patch.I unistalled the game and then I installed the english version without portuguese language patch and it works fine...

Please don't necro old threads. The reason for that error message was because the game was on weekly maintenance. It should be good now.
