Technically, the buff amount is a two part system

1: The % is based on the Buffers stats, the stronger the class stat + CHA on the buffer, the higher % the skill gives.

2: The receivers corresponding stat. The higher the stat, the more the % gives in return. Example, Character A: has 1000 AP, Character B: has 1500 AP. The buff is the same for both, +50%. Character A: gets a buff for 500AP [1500AP total] Character B: gets a buff for 750 AP. [A total of 2250 AP]

This guide is updated with two build options 1 which is focused on defense/ healing and option 2 which is focused on being a buffslave (statwise).

Hihi, can i ask.. For a FS cleric who can survive in dungeons, how should my stats be like? And skills as well. Should i follow your build as the defense/healing build or?

How about your game play like the skills sequence of healing your party members?

 

What sort of gems should I insert in my clothing and accessories and wand?

As a FS cleric your not suppose to be realy tanky and the salamander flames will do most of the healing job for you, just make sure you have some PVM resistance, thats the most importent stats for pvm.

Its also HEAVLY advised to take the unique integity skill this gives 50% damage reduction to the target for some seconds.

 

Brave armor does a realy good job in dungeons for all classes a backshield is also advised, maybe some oro/cliff for def, but I usualy have Beautiful set (Beryl7) with Hiria's Tear (Beryl7)

Its always good to have multiple sets available for multiple situations, u cant swap gear in combat but that doesnt mean u can't be prepaired

 

The fastest and easy way is normal gems,

Body: Damage reduction 

Offhand magictool: block rate gem 4,5%

Head:  uhhm 80 healpower

Boots: damage reduction or move speed

Weapon: Beryl 7

ring/earring: Beautifull (B7) or Cliff/Oro (Amethyst 7) for def mode.

Necklace: Hiria's tear is kinda the best one for every class. Should get this asap

2x Backshield: 2x advised +15 a  30Charm 50ms is nice and/or Summon gem for more Salamander flames.

 

 

The better and longer way is the paradigm runes.

Klonoa, funny you asked that just today cause I just barely tested that with a servant uniform with a B7 and a servant uniform with 30 substat and sadly they both add the same amount of Charm. I've got max charm(1069) so I was testing to see if I could squeeze a couple more charm points from different EQ but no luck.

when you see the total charm in your stats there is no difference.

Max charm is 1094... no matter if you use B7 or substats.

 

Some prefer B7.... others prefer substats... becauuse substats dont come with just charm 30... but also with other nice additional stats like MP Recovery or Defense...  or mspeed.

Far as I know, if your base charm stat is maxed at 400, then charm-wise there is no difference between a +30 charm substat and a B7. Used to be that the B7's were cheaper (which is why I used them where possible) but I don't know how prices are today.  As QueenElizabeth said, sometimes people prefer the substat because there can be a second stat (like MP recovery rate or max MP) as well as charm.

 

Highest charm possible right now is 1094- 1084 from equipment and 10 charm from the charm clan passive skill.

How do you get 1084-1094 charm? I though I had max charm eq. Below is an image of my equipment, all items either have B7 or 30 charm substat. What am I missing?

@ brix, QueenElizabeth, HoneyBunz : Tyvm for your information.. your information regarding substat is very useful and important to me.. because i had tested it on my knight to compare which one got higher def for pvm purpose; using luna set +PO7 or +sub75/75, and +PO7 has higher def... Thus i thought it would be the same with charm..
