I edited this out, because it's not needed to personally offend anyone here. We all are a bit nervous because of the current issue, but I think it's not necessary to attack each other.

 

I get your point, but im not nervous at all. I found this funny somehow...

Its nothing personal to you Popcorn, i think that you were the best thing that happened to this server but Warpportal only keeps on doing the same &%*$ again and again...

It frustrating at least! Some people put they heart and soul to this game and *BOOOM* Connectivity issues, database issues, rollback....

Even if it isnt the company's fault, i played some other games and this type of stuff never happened...

Maybe it is just bad luck or it is someones fault, itdoesnt matter,it is the company image that they should worry about...

Hello Dragon Saga Community!

 

Sadly we have an issue again that the server

does not save any progress.

 

The progress isn't saved since about

2015-5-30, 1:00 Server Time.

 

Please close your in-game shop, log out of the game

and don't send any in-game mails. 

 

I already informed the staff about the issue.

 

 

I will keep you updated.

I totally agree to you that this is very frustating. You know I am also a player and I looked forward to play a bit over the weekend. And then this.

I can't tell you why that happens so often lately, but I also agree that this isn't very good for the company image.

i cant see anyupdates on facebook page

even in wp page

please get some concern about this..

 

my friends ask me why the page are inactive ~

some people posting and asking what happen

but still no reply from the page

thanks for other players who can reply on some people asking what is happening ..

 

what if warpportal main page cannot be access ? where am i going to see the updates?

on FB? but the fb pages of dragon saga are inactive .

I'm logged in at the moment and I stay online. No problems at all.

 

Edit: Is it a specific map/channel?

Update

 

The database has been "rolled back" to

May, 30th 1:00am, means to the time

just before the issue began.

 

You should have got back all your items and gold.

However if you lost any valuable items or gear

(what's not very likely the case)

don't hesitate to write a support ticket. Our support team

will help you to recover this items by looking into the logs.

 

Please be advised that we can verify through logs whether the item loss

claim is valid. Any false report may be subject to account suspension.

 

The EXP Rate has been increased to 3.0x for the

rest of the Weekend. It's for you to compensate the lost time!

 

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue caused.

Maybe you should have a look at how players on EUW server of LoL complain, but no one from the Riot staff answers them nor seems to care in any way.

because they fix the problem really fast? I haven't seen server went down for 2 hours or more, but except for DerpTrolling event.

No, because their EUW server is unstable and they don't give a damn about it. They are responsible for some lags, crashes and firewall errors that make their LeaverBuster actually ban people, but won't admit they are. Ever heard of some error causing a game to crash and all players who were there to be unable to play because said game "isn't finished", but no one can connect to it ? This happens, quite often, and Riot does as if they never heard of it.

 

At the very least Warpportal informs us about issues that might cause trouble. This, and tons of events and free stuff they're giving out make me think they're the best production team I've ever heard of.

Did you try to logging in with your Warpportal ID and password?

 

If so, this does not work.

 

You have to create a special DragonSaga game account within your Warpportal account.

You can only login to the game with the ID and password of your DragonSaga game account.

 

 

If you already created a DragonSaga game account:

 

Do you get any error message while you try logging in?

 

If so, this sometimes happens when you have non English letters and such in either your password and/or your username. Please change your password in the way it only includes English letters and numbers. You can do this yourself right in your Warpportal (or game) account - forgot where exactly, sorry.

If your username has some non English letters, numbers, whatever in it you sadly have to write a ticket to the support team. They are the only ones that are able to fix it.

I'll try to get in touch with them. BTW, how's the ping? I'm kinda worried coz I'm from SEA and the ping will be a big issue in this game.

Also, is there a way to measure in-game ping?

I can't say what the ping for SEA is, but I know many SEA players are playing here and got used to the small delay they have.
Surely you can measure your ping.
 
You can open a windows command prompt and execute a ping command.
In case of Dragon Saga this would be:

ping playdragonsaga.com

You can open the windows command prompt by pressing the Windows Key + R, then a dialog with a text box should come up.
In this textbox please enter "cmd" and press ok. Another window should open then with light grey text on black background.
There you can enter the ping command I quoted above and press enter.
 
You should see a result similar to this then:

Ping wird ausgeführt für playdragonsaga.com [127.0.0.1]

The very last displayed value (for my example it's "Mittelwert" is the average ping of your connection to the WarpPortal servers. In my case it's 198 milliseconds.

I know the Support team must be in trouble answering all request of the last days, but does anyone know how long an answer on a support ticket takes?

I wrote one last saturday cause i lost some IM Points after the rollback.
