The 10 luk on the tarnished lamp is the same kind of mistake as the autumn hairband. a bad idea they never bothered to fix and now they won't take it away because people got used to it.

I mean, yeesh. lucky shadow armor and wep is a two item set that needs a +9 refine which will run you $20~50 easily and only gives 6 total luk. this hat does 10 for no effort beyond obtaining it.

 

+10 LUK for free is good... make the game a little less P2W e-e

Having just chosen the +9 Autumn Headband over a +9 Vanargand for my AS Ranger, i'm a little confused as to why it was a bad idea.  Details please !!!

depends on how much int u have, what weapon u use and how often u spam AS.

For Jaye's build, she would prefer more SP leeching rather than damage, which makes sense.

 

If you can't one shot without AHB, AHB is better for sure.

vanargand is better and more commonly used by trappers. Autumn headband is better and more commonly used by AS. now unruffle your jimmies.

But they're also both bad for ro.

You're probably misremembering. I prefer rideword over vanargand.

But the only reason I wear rideword on my wanderer is I don't have a compelling alternative, such as a hat that inceases my damage by a third *cough*.

I think RO define wanderer mostly as a support class

But at least they are doing something to it now

well its a nice challenge isn't it?

 

when i was 140+, our tank DCed right at the time the final mvp spawned. so we managed to kill it with 1 ranger 1 Ab.

 

2nd time, AB DCed, so the ranger soloed with limited pots.

 

Sounds interesting anyway

That's a faulty analogy.

 

The Costume Tarnished Lamp was intended to have that 10 Luk from the start.

 

In contrast, for the Autumn Headband, kRO altered that gear so that in the implementation phase it ended up with effects that differed from what was intended during the design phase.

 

What you're actually saying is, "in my own opinion, the Tarnished Lamp is over-powered, we should neuter it." It has nothing to do with a comparison between two different types of gears or their background history.

 

It would be more honest to say you want it nerfed merely because you don't like it.
