What's the mace build for? Is it a good budget alternative to pure crit lindy hop? And how much better is pure crit lindy hop compared to gambler's seal + robo arm?

lets put it this way:

 

lindy+tag = 10/10

 

VF(valk randgris)+temp ring = 8/10 (but you might as well buy lindy)

mace+shield+temp ring= 7.5/10 (plus at frenzy it gets very high aspd that you might not even need aspd pot if you only crit during MVP at end of instance)

VF (with golem) +temp ring= 6/10

 

On the other note, you can go 2 AK VF for the 8/10 dmg too, but that means no crush strike and randomly breaking weapons during instance MVPS which really really sucks.

 

 

Spear+ shield gets 9/10 btw. Whether its poison forged spear or gelerdria+storm stone combo. However you need a specific build with high AGI.

wondering if its worth upgrading a Gelerdria just for IB for lvling when i already have a +12 RTE.  doesnt seem more damage tho i supose it lets me use hundred spears when IB is on CD

Yes, its very good for MVPing if you're playing a STR build RK. At first RTE is great since during leveling you only use IB, but once you start MVPing, having hundred spears makes a big difference. The storm stone +50% to boss also makes the damage a lot stronger on MVPs.

Gelerdria is a killing machine spear for Malangdo Instance, Undersea Tunnel, New World insects.

 

All kind of coelacanth boss and minion killing is a breeze with that spear and storm stone combo.

 

All undersea tunnel mobs including the mighty kraken die too fast with this spear and storm stone combo.

 

It far surpassed RTE for all kind of insect-fish-water-wind and boss monsters. And wielding a spear means no damage penalty given when dragon riding.

 

@edit : adding octopus cave, bakonawa, and buwaya instances and funny looking giant octopus to the spear target

Hello, have you tested the new galapago set for STR RK? also i use a gp GS plus Temp Ring for pvm, for mvp i use gelerdria set, i feel no big difference in the atk +70 who provides the GP+GS vs BSG

I'm back to RO after a 2 year break and now I'm trying to salvage my RK. This is what she is right now:

103/19 Str 80 Agi 60 Vit 47 Int 60 Dex 60 Luk 11

+7 aries crown, CD in mouth, ROFL, +4 peuz plate/mant, +4 peuz boots (verit), peuz medal (creamy), +4 VF (2x sword guardian)

+7 valk shield (penomena), +4 hunting spear (archer skeleton), +7 rideword hat

misc other gears that are nothing spectacular

 

She was originally 2H agi build but that doesn't seem very good now. I have effectively no zeni compared to the equipment lists above.

 

** I checked my storage and I do have heroic backpack, fallen angel wings, black ribbon, and a few other things I never upgraded/carded.

** managed to get a storm stone or whatever its called

** budget now of 700m

It is worth on a CRIT RK to try a sidewinder card for DA? or the loss of dps is greater than having an AK card extra? - using the setup of lindi +tag + faw + acute orc -
I can't afford a high enchanted orc, only acute lv 2 , and i'm wondering if snake hat is better or trying sidewinder instead.

Big no, dont put Sidewonder card on your weapon, because RK doesnt has max DA passive skill like Thief. Lv1 means only 5% chance of proc. I tried it (accidentally compounded it) and lost lot of DPS. Summary it is really bad.

 

Dunno about snake hat because i dont have it.

since DA is a chance to double damage, each % of activation is equivalent to the DPS increase.

Lv1 DA =5% proc = 5% more DPS
Lv5 DA =25% proc = 25% more DPS

Thank you all for the answers! I was wondering wich hat is better because I'm doing more dps with snake hat thant orc, but my orc only have acute enchant lv 2, when I upgrade that to lv 5 I'll test again.

( I wanted to try sidewinder just to not lose the DA and replace snake hat for orc)

im not too sure if its worth investing on Acute ORC or OCP... Right now it is best in slot...

but kRO has a hat that has Double Attack lvl10 plus Acute like enchant.
